This explanation helps me too. Tnkx. Since more than 7 years I struggle with this very issue of risk/money management. I learned to be consistently losing... Now I reverse my strategies and climb out, very slowly, from the Bottomless Hole. But the struggle is worth this forex cave of Ali Babba of unlimited possibilities. Like our own life itself, with unlimited divine powers. Humans, through the millenia, are champion creators all categories, to create their own misery and fall. Are we so scared of our own cosmic and loving potential? See also:

Coulda had a nice entry here if you were looking out for a 5 pip spike on the 5 sec chart

You would be sitting at 30+ pips right now that gives a good RR

Yeah, these speeches are always nuts. I entered on the H1 charts like an hour ago and still got whipsawed out of a few positions.

It's funny how monetary meeting speeches always seem to whipsaw like crazy. Luckily, I already entered into some JPY pairs last week on bigger time frames because it would have been really hard to trade this news tonight.
