I included some AR sets on the JPY pairs as they seem to be rolling over and not providing much fork structure.

Hi fellow traders,

I've been following this thread lately
and thanks for all of comments and screenshots.

I successfully installed Andrews Pitchfork indicator on my MT4 platform
but I'm wondering if there is a way to modify or add lines in between.

Please take a look at the attached screenshot.
One on the left shows a default Andrews Pitchfork channel (just 3 lines only)
I can choose line type and color. But that's all. I can't add, remove or modifying individual line.


On the other hand, it has 2 more lines in between(white dotted lines)
and the center median line has a different color and line type.
Of course, I manually drew these lines since Andrew Pitchfork indicator doesn't have much flexibility.

It depends on the strategy you use. I follow the way described in the video from post #5959 and I do not use any indicators. Once the channel is formed, I draw parallel ( trend ) lines to emphasize the "ceiling" and the"floor" of the slope.
Other people use Tim Morge's strategy. You can find it on his website, just Google it.
Here is another indi, may be it will help:

MT4...no comment lol. I use a separate platform to put my drawings on...

If you would like to stick with MT4 I would suggest looking into the aml indicator posted in this thread. There is something also that I saw before called the pitchfork panel. I don't use either of them but simply copy my forks to make warning lines by hand. If you are a bit more adventurous you can look into the upgraded ml tool in meta trader 5 or use ninjatrader free demo version with fxcm as your data provider. Personally for now I use fxpro metatrader 4 as I find their data feed to be the best. I will soon be upgrading to ensign with esignal data but I love meta trader too much because it has been all I have used thus far. I don't like to change much , only get better in my drawings.
