The Aussie spiked up due to the RBA giving a neutral tone and also suggesting interest rate to be in the 2-3% range (2.5% currently) which the RBA don't normally tell what the future is. And finally did not try to downtalk the aussie, which suggest that they are comfortable in the high 80's.
Having said that, my setup is still valid as a cypher (for pattern traders) or Fib traders. So technically its still a good short area.

Will we find new lows? - i am 50/50 so please take partial profit when we hit the B point of the cypher pattern

I took a short on this pair...A little later than I wanted to, but a 4hour double top inside a clean supply zone is worth me taking a small sell.

I am not at all considering selling the AUDUSD.
I think the pair has more room to the upside, and I will not risk selling at these levels.
I might consider buying dips.
Not above the 0.8800 level.
Anything below this is a buy for me. This is just my view BTW.
What do you guys think?
The swaps are also high for shorting AUDUSD.
So, if the trade gets stuck, then swaps really kill you

We just saw the most energetic move up in the AUD in months if not years. Seems to me that we should have enough energy to test the .9000 level or get near it. I can see there are a lot of bears trying to front-run this level but they might get run over before it goes down. Hope we get there, because I am long.

Obviously , it depends on how much the released data differers from expectaions . On balance I'd take Retail Sales as having a likely bigger impact .

During the Australian business day , in terms of importance , you could bracket this into 3 distinct groups ; Essential , Potential and Irrelevant .

RBA SoMP
Trade Balance
Retail Sales
Chinese : CPI , Trade Balance and Industrial Production .

Irrelevant
PPI
New Motor Vehicle Sales
Building Permits (Approvals) and anything Construction related .
Home Loans
Private Sector Credit
New Home Sales .
Chinese PPI
Conference Board Leading index .
All other Indexes released by various financial institutions with the exception of Westpac's Consumer Confidence which can cause the odd blip or two
