Yes the initial price jump may be 20 to 30 pips but whats to say over the course of the day it goes up 100 pips. With a trailing stop u may catch 10 pips or 100+

I sold the gbp/jpy 2 mins before the news and took profit at 110 pips. Pretty happy with myself. Thanks Tony for this system (even though i sold not bought but hey its a 50 50)

There are about 10 major news per month... why do you want a robot to trade for you?

I'm afraid of the 20 pip spread + whipsaw when they announce no change in the rates... not sure... it the rate was expected to move maybe.

Which old method are you using? The original (as I recall that involved trading off of surges on tick charts) or a later version?
