FCX is trading in the mid 32$, I may take some profit off when the stock market opens later. The original position was a strangle with a total cost of $110, my current position is worth $288 per strangle position so its more than doubled

Holding the above position for now Rig is down to $44.25 well blow the $47 long put side of the strangle and the option has increased over 100% on it, obviously the call side is down so I'm looking foe this to touch $40 in the long term.

Still in Goldman sachs trade as quoted above, I'm going to keep this until I see GS drop another 6/7$ more. With any luck we may see $157 which will make this trade almost triple in Value.

Also Facebook and Google are the ones that are showing a possible volatile earnings play this week, both are showing a drop this week in them on earnings day.

YELP dropped $3-4 on the day, dipped below $70 for a spell. Maybe I'll get lucky and it sells off all the way to earnings day. Still not sold my next leg o puts....

Facebook have earnings out tomorrow and I'm looking to take a strangle position into next weeks expiration on Friday, may go out 5 strike prices out

Decided to trade YAHOO for it earnings overnight, it will be a strangle. Price is $37.64 as of writing now so the trade will be long $39 call and long $37 put

long $39 call is 61c and long $37 put is 66c for a total of $1.27 or $127 per strangle

better than BE on the VXX strangle, calls are up 120+ %. Trying to sit on hands, looking for a VIX spike as seen on 1/27. Feeling very dicey to me though. Stocks may rally and VIX collapse after FOMC.

NFLX looking strong & I will look to sell 2/7 otm puts there if it will dip a little for me

close this yahoo strangle trade for $2.10 or $210 per strangle position, bought for $127 per strangle position

I ended up buying Yahoo long $37 call for tomorrows expiration hoping for a small bounce for 6c or $6 per contract, a good RR.

I bought this at $34.87 now up to $35.03

sounds good, a bounce to close the week sounds about right following today.

They pushed VXX to $46 for me, all I was hoping for, and I got out of the 1/31 $47 calls for $1.00, paid $0.45. If the 1/31 $40 puts die worthless the strangle nets 33%. With a little luck VIX will fall hard now and the puts will be worth selling, too.

Watching NFLX, where most of my risk money is now riding short
