When adding a position (just a few times) the thing with the later trades is that they are a bit more reliable because the trend has actually turned your way.

Anyway I was trying to say that if one catches just one swing on whatever TF you trade it should give you 30-100% per month despite the losers.

Anyway I'll just prove to my self on a demo account that it's possible.

But why not wait for all of your trades, get too where you'd take the 2nd position, go fully in at that price, surely you'd make more and next to no losers.

Yes you can make 30 % a month. Will everybody? No! It takes a lot of time and experience trading.

I don't quite get what the hell you've been doing for 9 years. Your level of conversance is resembling proxy's who claims to have 5 times less experience while anyway knows almost nothing and I was actually wondering what made him waste so much time...

In the old days, it was called chasing a trade and viewed as BAD, your raising your average price and putting more at risk, therefore needing a smaller move against you to get you into a losing position over all. Just because a trade is up 30pips doesn't mean it won't reverse on you 5mins later.


Put your greed at rest and never do this, if you want to make it trading Forex!!

I think it is possible! Just no one had proof it(as I know).

I am on my way to proof it.
When I design a system to achieve 50% per month, I tested with my mini account.

To my surprise, the system achieved about +70% gain within 6 trading days..it is mechanical system..
let me get longer results, to see it can be consistent or not.

The system not set any percentage per month, as it get what market want to give.

If it continue run the way it is designed, it can achieved more than what the OP quest!

Hi, I really enjoy the topic of this thread. There's a very interesting contest in vietnam. They try to find the best traders for their fund, the minimum requirement is 30% return per month, and there's another rules, just like the maximum risk per day is 5%, first, they let the participants trade with their demo account, if they found that any participants perform really well, they will give them the real account... some traders have already received the real account about 1000$, they win several months, ( 1-2 months ) after that they lose.

But there's still no one who can follow this rules, but I believe that there will be someone who can do it. Because people used to believe that they couldn't fly... etc. If you are really interested in this contest, you can send a message to me, because the language we use is vietnamese, so it will be difficult for you to join this contest.

If you make over 30% a month you dont need to get into the contest, you can get employed as a junior trader. Of course if you make mistakes you are out the door. If you win like you win on demo account you will be very rich quickly.

I made over 50% a month for a year on demo account and i get offers from jobs i applied quickly. Unfortunately i am at uni and cant take the jobs.

I know it is totally different emotions when trading for real, but humans adapt to anything, for some it takes longer for some no time at all.... Depends on your money philosophy, mental state....

You must not be attached to money AT ALL. This way when losing... you are still focused on your rules not emotions.

But just to show you a nice example with this CHF trade. Do you see the three zones where you'd enter?

Trail all positions which would exited you at the blue line. That's about $2.500 profit risking about $200/trade

On a $4k account that's 62% profit risking 5%/trade

Ok let's say that you are wrong quite a few times before you cath this one....ok but let's say that in a month time you are also able to catch another one like that...makes sense?
