@rekon67 Indeed we can clearly see a nice setup. If you were taking the trade, would you wait that the price break the previous high @142.69?

Unfortunately I have problem with my broker. I wasn't credited the bonus they claimed because I'm not from an illegible country and I think that they have very bad spreads. So I might not be able to enter the market before tomorrow. I am moving to a new broker and I will make sure that I am on mt4 so that I can track my record here and possibly participate to the 100 fold challenge.

@Malouin Cool, welcome aboard. We're in for a (hopefully) long ride !

If you see the technicals I have used there, called Raff Regression, You can add, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Raffs to create Short, medium and long trend.

When to enter and where to Exit:

A. when you get the bottom of the raff channel, you enter with stops 20 to 40 pips with target to reach the upper band of the Raff.
B. Better to enter when all the Raffs are showing you the same direction, UP or Down.
C. in the E/J set up you can see the trends are contradicting each other, which results a range bound market, not trending one. You can take quick pips by entering with short raff direction (10); and exiting at 20 or 50 Mid or upper bands.

D. When all Raffs agree the direction you can get a massive move of 500+ pips.

@rekon67 I'm trying to find in a demo account the Raff indicator on the mt4 plateforme. Could you point me under what menu I could find it?

There are custom Raff channel indis for MT4, but those are not correct one, better you use online chart for that.

Alright, quick update because lots of things changed since the past days. As I stated before my broker removed the 500$ bonus from my account because I was not in an illegible country. So I decided to withdraw and move my money somewhere else to take advantage of a deal. Plus this broker was offering very bad fixed spread. I wasn't aware before I actually pay how much spread can hurt a trader. So I cashed out 1102.53 $ (+10.53%) and I found a super good offer that not only doubled my money, but they give me unlimited amount of time to clear the trade requirement and very good spread.

I am now using mt4 so I can track my record on this thread. However, one thing to note, the bonus is counted as a "credit" until I trade 200 lots. Since I'm only trading .1 lot it will take 2-3 years until I clear it. If I lose my balance, I lose the credit. So I won't be trading 2% of my equity. I will be trading 2% of my equity - 1102.53. I will attach the trade explorer once I close one trade.

Hi guys, first week update. It's been actually more like 10 trading days and lots of good stuff happen. Let's recap!

1- First deposit on a broker. Since I'm inexperienced I didn't choose a good one and didn't read t&a correctly.
2- Withdraw my money after 10% profit in 4 trades! (3 win 1 loss).
3- Deposit on a new broker with mt4 so that we can track my journey.
4- Made some good profit for the rest of the week.

My thought
First week of trading was very successful. I basically made 200 $ trading EURJPY. Their is a very strong support/resistance and price keep bouncing and it's pretty easy to cash in. I obviously do not expect to have... +30% win every week but it's very nice to start strong. It removed the anxiety of the first trade and give me the confidence going into my second week. I have 3 daily trade that are still open, unfortunately they are going in the wrong direction.

What mistake did I do and how will I do to learn from them
As a new junior trader, I will be making mistake. I think that it's a good idea for me to point them out. One thing that I wasn't happy is that for some reason, I was staring the USDCAD chart on the 1 hour. I took a decision to close my trade because it was going down on the 1 hour chart but I had taken that trade on a daily analysis. Then 2 hours later the small down trend reversed and I hit my stop loss. Once i realized my mistake I got long again. Not only did I pay spread for no reason but I lost a trade that should of never happen in the first place. I don't even trade the hour chart. I read somewhere on FF someone saying that if you look too much at the charts when you're in a trade, you get hypnotize by them and start losing focus of the big picture. From now on, when I lock my trade, I have my take profit/stop loss set and either it hit one target or the other but I will not change my mind in the middle of a trade unless some major news happen.
