AUD trading right at the 20d here at 89.5.

We're seeing intraday consolidation... no real indication of strong bias for long or short.

However, next day if AUD does indeed hold on to this area, and manage to provide a tradable intraday long, we can see .905 being tested next.

In any case this area fails, and we trade back below .894, and hold below, this will be a sad tale for AUD as .9 provides a temporary ceiling for shorts, and more bleeding will likely come in the future.

Gold coming into resistance areas around 1250 - 1270.

I will be expecting some shakeouts here and there... steering clear for now. till something juicy comes along.

What's wrong with the market? We have good number for trade balance but this pair is dropping from 0.896x to 0.894x, could someone give me some opinion please? Thanks

Hey Gary, I know Reuters released a +118M figure for a few mins, then it was corrected to -118M (still better figure than -300M)

It was a decent release, 30+days after Nov ended but the market must be looking at a different catalyst for bulls to get in.

Big hands shorted it to reload longs, thats what is happening ! Soon you would see a sharp reversal up with all retailer's short position cleared.
My buy limit 0.8935 got filled ! If you want to play safe put a buy stop 0.8960 . Also Euraud looks attractive to short.

I thought so too. On the long run a bull might be coming, for daily chart and weekly chart, you could earn the swap if you could hold that long.
