Good question, and I don't know. Dk have been around for quite some time. If you are putting in a large stake you can opt to have it linked-in from another bank so that your money does not actually reside with Dk.

Dear Traders,

At the time being, Dukascopy Bank does not collaborate with any rating agency and therefore has no credit rating.

During the current troubled financial times, tackling the credit risk is an obsession at Dukascopy Bank.

On 30 September 2013, 68% of Dukascopy Bank’s assets consisted in cash deposited with the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and bonds issued by the Swiss government.

At the same date, 29% of Dukascopy Bank’s assets were cash deposited with various banks. Applicable risk diversification rules forces us to spread Dukascopy Bank’s deposits with a number of banks, which reduces Dukascopy Bank’s credit risk. Only deposits with the SNB are not capped by the legislation.

In total, 97% of Dukascopy Bank’s assets were made of cash or safe Swiss government bonds. As this figure shows, clients assets deposited with Dukascopy Bank are kept extremely liquid and safe. Dukascopy Bank has no risky investment in securities or real estate.

Clients’ deposits are guaranteed up to CHF 100’000 at Dukascopy Bank and up to EUR 20’000 at Dukascopy Europe.

ECN it is not a MM.

At a real ECN can happen, at news release even more and a lot wider spread.
Usually I hadn't disconnecting problem, but I don't watch porno over they charts, not need to see all day.

I don't trade anymore with they because: Android platform is so slow as it is useless. At an NPF news spike I wanted to make a trade - for test.
I have checked the news result here. They app was started, but when I am using again and came to foreground than it will ask the PIN again until it checks and the answer will come back to me need to wait. After that I check the chart, go to new order set the params, submit wait... price already invalid, check again send oder again, wait again. Exactly 90 seconds was elapsed until my @Market order was somehow filled. How much is moving the price at NFP news release in 10 seconds and how much in 90? I have used 3G connection to have more latency but is simply unacceptable. At they iPhone version this process is around 30-40 seconds, still the same 3G network!

To not use they shit and make mine Android client they are asking 100k deposit, isn't funny?

What is the minimum lot in mt4 platform? I want to start with 0.01 lot.

Does anyone know of a trade analysis tool (like mt4live, or myfxbook) that works with the jforex platform?

I just opened a new account at fxdd and will be using the jforex platform

Hello,

I read this on the website: "By default the initial leverage for regular trading hours is set to 1:100, ........., but can be set up to 1:300 by request."
I'd like to open an account, but before I do I need to know if I will be able to get the 1:250 leverage I need for my strategy.
In what cases can that request be denied?

Also, can I fund that account with my Paypal account?

Please Dukascopy

Im a very happy costumer for years now. But please consider to add Futures and Stocks to your platform. Especially 6E futures data with volume that I use it for making my decisions in the forex Market.

You should really consider this a lot of traders use volume this day and the Tick Volume from DukasCopy is not reliable.

I have another question/request for dukascopy. Please provide some way of monitoring of my trading activity for example. Because for now if I'd like to find investors I can't do that at all. Everybody asks me about perfomance, and argument, please look at my statement generated by jForex is not considered as trustworthy. Everybody says that they know html and can generate similar statements of profitability.

Don't worry about it!
Anybody to whom you really need to demonstrate performance can watch you generate a report after you have logged-in.
All other people are not important.

what you where looking at there was probably a bid chart and you had a short position on while looking at a ask chart
and you didn't think about it? if you have a long you need to watch the bid chart for a stoploss execution because you need to sell to get out, the bid price is allways lower than the ask price, and vice versa, you allways buy at the ask and sell at the bid, you buy higher and sell lower (spread) unless you can be filled in between the spread which is possible with Dukascopy, but that is generally what goes, Dukascopy is very exact on filling on the correct price from my experience,
if you have a long position you must sell to get out, if you then have the ask chart up, it might apear that price would go past the stoploss, I made this misstake my self a few times

What is a normal trade size dukascopy? If I was to trade 100 full lots, meaning $1000 a pip, would that raise any eyebrows? Or would it be better not to place all my eggs in one basket and disburse it in 10 accounts so each one is trading 10 full lots each at $100 a pip. Thanks in advanced.

it's not advisable to trade that kind of volume unless you are stinking rich, use proper money management, don't risk more than 1 - 5% of your intire trading capital on any single trade, othervice your acount will soon be empty, but Im sure they could fill you for 100 lots withouth raising their eyebrows, it is stated on teir webpage clients could trade in one click up to 200 million USD

I thought I would leave someone else to reply to that question.
A quick sum will tell you that you need $200k to trade 100 lots, that's $100k for margin and $100k for 100 pips of price wobble.

Perhaps I could do it for him on a commission basis.....
Standard sort of deal, 25% of high water mark. ....hmmm
