Always nice to see this on the 1hr timeframe at double tops at the 8/8s my short from the friday close in the kiwi

had to exit GJ wasn't able to hold above prior tops on the asian open took the short...turns out UJ hit resistance and rolled over we b headed down....

short GJ on flag break.

out short gj 54 pips looking at this long now long on gu one to one, uj at possible double...these two turn here gj should move up.

gj 60m, 240m at possible support

long gj @ b/e 30 pips or so now still short nzdusd 35 pips with gains on the usdchf 165 or so as well...will be interesting to see what the london session brings. If i had to guess they'll probably take profits and I'll look to add to my position on a pullback in the CHF trade. Would like to see nzd and gj reverse off previous swings and extend those moves to prior tops and bottoms.

chf long around 170 pips now gj closing it here at the one to one for about 80.

CHF update extending gains about 200 pips now nearing upside channel 60m chart nice place to scale out; daily, I like the TL break out everything looking strong at this point and constructive to the upside.

lots of nice fireworks as always with NFP....hedged my swissy short with an EU long out of euro long adding to my position in usdCHF.

gj has a nice flag break, I'll be looking for rallies to sell early week, looks a bit head and shouldery on the blue channel frequency, measured move puts back into prior lows. Near term that 15 min chart looks bullish, but will be looking for that rally to fail back towards the flag break price, 172.26 or higher for a TL retest failure towards 173.00 triple tops.

Well let's get in there with jpy and see what's going on...profit taking confirmed? Any percent correction on the higher time is going to be a substantial move...any fundamental geeks out there can confirm BOJ outlook for 2014? Chart showing signs of weekness....

easy to see the symmetry in EJ, hopefully self-explainatory. Possible harmonic confirmed on UJ 4hr chart if we start to take out lows. UJ TL taken out on 60m chart.

gu looking like it might already be there...if we do press higher on the open on Sunday will be selling into the 78 fib...will play nicely with the gj short

Nice UML rejection here and flag break on EURaud downside target looks very doable would look to sell the rallies here as well.

Who knew Ska and Rock Steady were the precursor to Bob Marley and Reggae pretty cool stuff easy to see the transition...Happy trading the New Year.

Been watching this trade lately, don't trade it much but here's a great example of a cycle trade I've been back-testing using stochastics. This is the reversal version of the trade setup...coming off extremes or reversal patterns looking for the first higher low...great bounce off the lows on the 4hr chart good pullback here to oversold at double bottom/higher low...wait for the first bullish 4hr candle to form as stoch presses back above 20, then the first pullback on the 15/5min chart to oversold for the entry on the first bullish candle that forms at oversold. Seems my data was off on mt4 have to correct on my ninja platform. Hang on.

Here you can see it's coming off a nice double bottom and it's not until the 2nd close of the 4hr candle you get a decent quick pullback to enter on the 15m chart.
Gives you the higher time frame momentum and a tight pivot to hide your stop behind with low risk...manage the trade on the 4hr as it moves into overbought territory.

Keep in mind that even though we have a possible bottoming pattern and some trend line breaks we still haven't taken out any significant highs to the upside...will need that to hold with confidence longer term. Just a what if scenario at this point.....it seems a number of pairs maybe in transition coming into the new year...we'll see.

gc....looking bullish possible near term bottoming pattern in place...measure move puts you up around 1314, 1270 looks good near term on a break and hold above current resistance. Looking to buy pullbacks for a break higher this week.

CL 240m pulled in this red fork to try to find some downsloping lines gets difficult when it waterfalls like this...didn't look to bad so I ran back in time just to see if there was anything in the background to confirm it...always amazed at the symmetry in the markets...

looks like on the 60m chart the blue channel lines have a 135-150 tick range on those last few legs.

nasdaq hit my downside target pretty much on the nose and has rallied ever since...easy to see the current support and resistance channel on the 60m chart...a break of prior tops sets up a bullish inverse head and shoulders pattern.

Had some mexican today, so I was thinking about natural gas...great frequency shift to tag the downside target to the tick on the 60m chart
