I just realised I forgot to post a "cancel trade" on trade #28. Sorry about that. To keep results 100% accurate according to posted trades in this journal, I will register the 25 pips loss, and so we end the week in +104 pips instead of +129 pips. My bad. I cancelled the trade because the release of the Canadian employment data was coming out. Trade #29 actually went all the way down to hit the original target at 146.26. Had I had a little more patience, we could have booked the entire 70 pips on it. Let's do better next week.

Welcome back to this third out of five weeks of this journal. We will continue to trade carefully this week and try and pick some good trades. Looking at the price action from last week, it's especially the Yen crosses that stands out. Depending on how the market opens tonight, we might get some early setups. Have a good week everyone!

A couple of potentially interesting limit orders to kick off this Asian session following the brilliant Italian win in the world cup. I will give them a trade number if they get triggered, but for now the list below will do fine. Minimize risk to 0.5% per trade to begin with. Once intra-week trends have been established, we can increase risk.
Most of the order has now been triggered. I might have been a little greedy on the Yen crosses, wanting better entries, so I will see if we can find new entries lower. Here is the current status:

After being up very nicely this morning, especially on cable, the positions have since moved a little against us. If you are very risk averse you can take profit now or wait and see how things unfold. It sucks to give back 20 pips on cable, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Trade #31 stopped out at b/e +1. Good support in 1.1132 prevented further drops. Perhaps the 1.1155 resistance will be challenged again. This trade was up +22 pips at its highest.
