Yes, I am aware of the correlation, however I don't trade it. As part of the global economy, the US equity markets are obviously included in my analysis.

What a great spike down thru s1. and around yesterday's support area.
Sort of clears the way for a nice upward move.

Given that the Yen technically and fundamentally should continue depreciating against the US dollar and British pound, I'm of the opinion that the Geppy will maintain it's vertical ascent.

As such, I will be looking to keep adding longs on inside bar breakouts of various timeframes.

I think most people are trying to figure out where to get on this trade...it still seems long, the only problem is where to enter...most are hoping for a pullback except no-one can see it coming...im HOPING for a pullback to confluence around 165, but as someone on this thread said, its raced through the 160s and could just keep going to 185...any thoughts anyone?

If we are lucky, it might pullback to Tuesdays open area - around 173.5. GPPJPY likes to revisit the previous day's open level. That would be a good place to buy for a trade to close before the weekend, BUT it's now the last part of the week, and often price reverses for the last two days. It's possible that price could fall to the 171-172 area before Friday's close. Just have to watch and be ready.

A serious pullback below 170 seems pretty unlikely, but you never know. I'm often wrong!

Edit. I've just placed a pending buy at 173.940 - just above yesterday's pivot. The market opened up, but it is worth the chance to catch any retrace.

I'd say it's testing former resistance (H1 and H4) - maybe turning to support.

I dont short on GJ, just accumulate up.
