Still Basketting

I have been reading / studying / lurking on this thread (and others) for a while now, having come across basket trading by accident whilst looking for something else.

A big Thank You to Kos for keeping this idea alive and I believe it is just what my trading needs.
Tired of stressful trading and still seeing nothing but red pips at the end of the (every) month.
I have been demo trading baskets (with the odd live trade) for the last month and it is my intention to trade live next Monday and looking forward to spending less time in front of the screen and more time doing other things.

Thank you to all of you who have contributed to this thread - your input has been very helpful!

It is interesting however, to see how many people take a system like this and then bend it and mold it into something completely different and yet the core of the original system still provides them with pips - that tells me that the system is strong and reliable. I will be sticking to the original way of trading it on the one/four hour TF.

I hope the new year brings us all green pips

May I ask question : Which 5 pairs do you use for dollar basket trading? Why UJ exclude? thanks for your information. Anyway is there any thread that specificly trading this dollar basket strategy?

Now Short on H4. Got in this guy a bit early off of the M15 and H1. Almost to BE right now.

I actually use 1060 for M15, H1, and H4. I can get in and out of trades early and it worked pretty well for this latest one.

BE hit. Now I can have my morning Gin & Tonic

Got in even earlier on this side. 1st basket hit BE and then closed because I am (was) still testing my t101 ea settings.

Entered another basket on the H1 when IXO 1060 turned red. Close to BE now.

So far I think I've done 600+ pips (since I use a 5digit broker).

*Noted the weekly pivot heads up from manuel fx.

NB: I use the same IXO too - 1060. But I use 3280 for D1

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the T101 ea for the better part of a year and I still can't get it to do what I want. It's quite frustrating. I don't use it as a robot, but more to just handle the trades. I was sleeping ended up -150 on the last long because for some reason my BE wasn't set. I was actually going to ask if anyone had come up with a script where all it did was simply stop and reverse when XO changes and set BE when that respective pip-count is hit. I know some people have asked that question a few times, but I've never seen if it's a reality. It would be pretty exactly like Kos's script. Super simple.

Still on this Coaster Ride.....getting tired though.

Just closed short and reversed. I got in a bit late since I didn't wake up in time for the new H4 bar. Good pips on the short, though. +389!
