It sure does!
But it bites too
My personal experience is that pattern reliability decreases as the time frame decreases, so more caution is needed. Plus spread makes it hard to trade the small patterns. M5 / 233 tick seems to work OK for me.

Patterns are powerful. But more than that Ratios are more powerful as per my understanding.

My apologies - semantics... a pattern is made up of ratios so we probably mean the same thing.
Personally, I no longer look for 5 point patterns and merely trade the 4 point patterns (AB=CD variants) when other areas of confluence lend credence to the pattern.

I think there is technical problem with my mt4. Price is not falling below 3674. Someone please post 5m EU chart to confirm.

I am not seeing much so far today, forced a trade earlier and lost 10 pips.

Looking at a potential reversal on the GBPUSD at the moment in the completion of an ABCD from 1.6407 high (A) and it is currently around the 127-138% ext but came with some momentum but also in a area of demand so a few indicators and it is respecting it so far. May enter long, we will see.

Entered at 1.6360 so just above BE at the moment with SL at the 161 ext of the AB leg.

Oh well that didn't go well, SL hit and now about -32 pips for the day, typical as this is the day I chose to use real money
