Look for exhaustion.

News make old plans fail as well since the market enters in some sort of consolidation during the day before FOMC events.

Hey guys im new to this thread and to harmonic trading I have been practicing demo for a while and have done pretty good so far trading harmonic's. Anyways I started an account with just a little bit of money to see if I can build it up slowly with FXGlory as my broker. Here's a picture of a Bearish Bat That looks pretty good so far.

Alright guys. I am filled in GU. Price reached 161.8% extension of the first news swing.

Additional reasons:

- Price broke a mini consolidation area after the news, killing multiple stops
- Price is 82 pips above the ultimate resistance and kissing tomorrow's projected second resistance as well.
- Price has rallied nearly 300 pips. That's making the pound 3 cents more expensive in just one day. Lol, this is not a reason, but is fun to think about it. I wouldn't fly to London right now with my cheap dollars.
- Today's range is 226 pips which is 131 pips higher than the average. Good enough for me for going counter.
- Strong supply area around 1.6465

Aggressive C tying up with trendline, round number (1.37), daily S2, RSI divergence. It went a little deep, but no candle close beyond 78.6.

Nice momentum down... it would be even nicer to see it continue down to the rectangle (AB=CD, 1.27AB=CD)... provided it can get through the structure of the last swing low.

I know that, that's why I am not using MT4, and using my brokers platform instead, because there I have average price instead of Bid price, like in the MT4.
I have my own system, and I used to trade only in MT4 platform, but after i noticed, that charts between MT4 and brokers platform are different, like 2-3 pips, and on the spikes up to 10 pips. So i moved away from MT4, and after that my profit increased in times, price doesn't normally hit my stops like it was before on spikes in MT4, and because of the difference in price, indicators have slightly different, calculations, but it affects a lot.
Any way it is nothing to do with harmonics.

I like 61.8% retracements, even some 50% when you are measuring them from a bigger window of time. But I think many of the pros here will agree that you want to see some harmonics within that retracement. That's the way I consider "aggressive" C trades. However for me they are only part of price orderflow. You get a confluence in such situations: in one hand you have a nice retracement, say for example, from a H4 charts swing, while your M15 chart printed you an ABCD. So at the end you have a valid PRZ with higher TF confluence. Please let me know if you get what I'm saying.

Ok, to read this chart please focus first in the Number 3 in the blue fibo 61.8% retracement of the big swing. I wanted to take a trade there, but also I need to see some situations along the way, and I got a nice ABCD (green trendlines). You can see price completed to the pip that harmonic projection.

Getting back in time we can see how price created the big swing. Number 1 was the completion of the first bearish ABCD with 161.8% fibo exhaustion. Price reacted quicly and then you could also get an aggresive C to continue the journey to the downside. Price finally created 3 equal harmonic moves.

There are a lot of harmonics going on actually. Tell me, where don't you have them?! They are everywhere!

Retracements are our friends, and as Mr. Pip says, we always need to have an expectation to where price is going. This takes time. I'm still learning but am starting to feel very confident about all this.
