There is still feed in it....The feed mill is going to have to get the pickup truck out here and empty it........Then Equipment Sales and Service will take it down and repair it and put it back up.........At least the Feed Mill is going to pay for it...........

These birds were taken early... How much longer would you have kept them under normal circumstances...?

I think in Great Britain the birds are actually hit with an inert gas to render them unconscious before slaughter...

I don't know what the exact slaughter process is here now.....But every aspect is now watched closely

As it should be.... Interesting article about Kosher slaughter of chickens.... Very humane, and efficient as well.... Empire has their plant in Amish country in Pa... Most of their chickens are raised by Amish farmers according to Empire's standards...

The people who are buying the chicken wholesale, are now inspecting the farms that are growing the chicken that they buy.......We've had 3 buyers this year checking to make sure their requirements are met......We had Mc D's out here this summer...........

Price differential, Kosher vs non-Kosher... This weekend leg thigh combo... non-Kosher 0.77/lb. Kosher 2.49/lb...
