These words come in the right moment for me. Thank you for sharing how you got involved in price action and harmonics.

I have gone literally through every indicator possible this year. I know them all, RSI, MACD, CCI, MAs, Stochs, Envelopes, Bollingers. Not only do I know how they work and how to use them but I also became an expert in detecting when there was divergence between price and the indicator, and recognizing those areas of overbought and oversold price. But what happened? Even when I was assesing all that crap I was misserably then watching how everything turned against me.

I have coded some nice indicators myself also but is that big EGO talking inside of my head, thinking that I finally found something that nobody else saw before. Well, in a way I have, I am proud of my work haha. But getting back to the subject... there is no such thing as finding the holy grail. The HG as you have told us multiple times is to learn to read the charts, the story they are telling to us, spot weakness and strenght, order flow, momentum.. and all that withouth any damn indicator.

Got to say this is a thread that got my interest back in trading, it has been a long time coming!! I first saw this thread back at the end of July in my first post here. (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=6849740#post6849740)

So I have a lot of catching up to do to get back on this. I started to go through Harmonic Trading, skimming it as a reminder and I have just loaded NinjaTrader as it looks like a good platform to help me draw out some of these patterns as MT4 will not even let me draw a short straight line.

I did have a few questions for you whilst I bury myself back into this (not read all the rest of this thread yet so apologies if this is repeated). I am sure I understand most of this but just had some general questions about your trading. I do understand that they are difficult to answer as things change and are dependent on many factors but wondered if you could just give us a normal range?

1. How many trades do you make a day/week?
2. What is your strike rate of losers/BE/winners?
3. How many currency pairs do you manage to trade?
4. Do you double check the news to stay away from big announcements? (sure this may have been answered earlier on but cannot find it).

I am sure there will be many more questions but for now I will finish my reading then look at some dummy trades and then post some up here for feedback.

Thanks Bronco! I'm feeding my kid (distracted) and I know I'm leaving a lot on the table but I'm quite emotional so I'm training to just take the trades. Missed the second 10 pip swath on the retrace.

I fully understand the emotional side. I thought I learned a lot about myself(emotions) when I got married, not even close to trading. As a spouse we try to control our emotions. As a trader we have to face our EMOTIONS straight on and CORRECT them !!!!
