I would expect that part of the deal has been lifting restrictions on Iranian oil sales to the west. If that's true there will be a move down in crude oil prices, especially Brent, and corresponding USD strength. Will be watching crude futures starting Asian Monday.

Thanks The Fool for the link. I heard about the deal in the car this afternoon and immediately thought of stock market increase and drop in crude oil. I will be watching crude prices this week

Thanks for your chart

I put up my thoughts about Gold yesterday and this covers silver too. Gold is bearish but might continue in a time wasting pattern before heading down. Where Gold goes silver goes too imho

If silver turns from here it would need to clear 25 to confirm its bullishness. nimble traders can try and buy looking for some upmove as shown on your chart

Olu, yes that was a pretty ugly bearish candle last week. I think as long as the support area holds it may go higher but if it closes below the support box, then new lows probably ahead. Price bounced pretty nice today to close above the support area.

Hi Srt

There are subtle diferences in the price action of the 2 coffee contracts. What is the trader to do? I am tempted to sell a break of the 1550 in jan Robusta. But sometimes it seem Robusta follows the bigger contract. The bigger contract closed up today significantly eating into the bearish reversal on the daily chare while Robusta closed lower not even moving much. We'll see how this plays out

Strength in the gbpusd and eurusd - While the invalidation points on my charts havent been reached this upmove is looking a tad more than a retracement. A breakout to the upside is being threatened in the euro

As said before the trend line was broken but there was not a lot of downside seen today. All the technicals are still there though as shown on the chart. These markets being what they are and despite all the technicals listed this pair can just shoot straight up...

Does anyone notice that the dollar index and the FXCM dollar index are not falling as much as the euro is rising. The Pound and the Euro are rising against the US$ while the aud, nzd, cad, jpy, sgd are falling against the $. So the true situation might be $ strength. And bigger falls might be in store when these 2 big daddies start to fall as well. Just me thinking aloud...
