Rags to Riches via risking 50% per trade is pure pipe dream. 2:1 RR set-ups with HARD STOPLOSS in the market is nearly impossible to find consistently.

Consistently bringing in that 20 pips a day is all you need to get to riches. Is anyone saying they can't make 20 pips a day after trading for 2-3 years?

Well looks like the euro set up worked but the pound one is getting pounded pretty hard.

to help me get good entries into the market while I sleep, do work do anything that I like. All i need to do is to choose the pairs, set up the EA and let it run and switch it off when I deem it right to exit the trades/market.

The TS used it to trade counter-trend and blew one account already. I'm using it to get good trend entries, so not doing what he is doing over there.

Woke up from nap and saw that I got some pretty nice entries into the trend

EAs can be very helpful for helping you trade across all pairs, in achieve emotion free trading/ consistency in trading and in freeing up your time for other things so that you don't have to sit at the screen looking for entries (or choose the alternative which is to use limit or stop orders which may not be filled or may be filled at a bad time)

Late US session - time for trend traders to come out to the sun to play?

Given yesterday's move, seems like this morning there's no sweep for liquidity? straight up we go on gbp and eur?

You know you are trading with the trend when the $100 drawdown that took 16 hours to accumulate disappears within 30minutes.

Does the existence of trend contradict the hypothesis that price movements are random?

Looking for a retrace on GBP/USD.

Trading counter-trend is simply a loser's game unless you are practicing very nimble exits.

surprisingly, I only learnt that, like really UNDERSTOOD that, recently, despite trading for more than 3 years.

Hmm... retrace seems to have missed my limit order by 0.8 pips... (again!)

Typically, in a year you get up to around 3 trend changes per pair... that boils down to - you can milk a trend for average 4 months!

Still waiting for GBP limit order to be filled. maybe news release will do the trick?

Being an active winner means protecting your profits with trailing stop/ taking profits whenever necessary, this is especially easy with an EA to help with order management.

you will be surprised how these small profits add up and how many chances you actually have to reenter into the trend.

Currently in a risk-free short trade on the GBP/USD (after 4 break-even trades)... maybe this will bring me my 20 pips for the day?

For those interested, there's a long set-up on GBP/USD - but if price does get there I wouldn't be trading it because I have hit my 20 pips
