I long AUD at 0.9200, since DOW stands above 16000, I expect AUD has a nice pull back.

Or the trend line could come back into play as per my previous image. Might be Monday or Tuesday, but that would be ideal short if there is price rejection off the line.

I'm short - tp = 0.9172.

Hope that the third red candle will be similar size as the previous one

Hi Feather you and I are thinking alike. I closed a nice short because of the same reason. The chart is what I posted on my thread

I'm out too, and only looking to go long at this level. The fibs fit well on this move down.

I think this should not pass this broken resistance. Looking this strong move down and fundies should do it.
Weekly turning also nicely down so could suggest further down move next week.

My view.

Fundamentals don't support AUD lower than 0.91. Actually, lower than 0.92 is oversell area, I think buy dip would get better return.

Au real estate market is quite hot.
Current rates attract lots of foreign investors.
AU output still maintain high level.

Well done on your profits, Nice thread ill keep my eye on it. IMO the PA in which we have seen the last 2 days all points to more downside. I don't think we will see 9349 off this move but you never know.

But still the rba wants to sink the au at least i read it quite on news... Rba open to intervention was posted on forexlive? Or maybe i dont get it?
For now i just see weekly chart of this pair and a test to the lows and then if it works a carry trade perhaps?

I keep in mind this are predictions which are mostly so so cause who really knows where price will be tomorrow.

PS: one thing i like to look is community outlook and they are buying it like hell.

Yes. RBA does want to sink AUD at a reasonable level. But what's the exact rate range they want? We don't know. Even they don't know what exact range can solve all the problems in AU economy.

If they try intervention, it won't get good result. Japan can lower their rate to stimulate their output because they have very strong manufacturing industry. But OZ? Even RBA can knock down AUD/USD to under 0.85, it won't stimulate their output too much. Commodities price is not controlled by their hand, controlled by Wall Street and Beijing.

As long as US and China print money in such crazy mode, to knock down AUD at 0.8X level will trigger high inflation and high real estate price. Then local workforce need more salary. It won't help them to become more competitive.

Just too late, they already ruined their manufacturing industry.
