Selling your trading system

I've developed a trading system that has been tested and has proven to be extremely profitable. I am interested in selling this system because I am underfunded and would rather take a large up front payment. Any wisdom or ideas would be appreciated.

Figure out a way to fund it, would be my advice. Raise money from friends and family. Don't give out the system. As more people pile into a system, it stops working. It seems counterintuitive. Because if more and more people put on the same trade, the system should become more successful. But that just isn't how it works.

Besides, you won't get any serious money for it, unless you can sell it to a bank or a big fund. If you had contacts in the industry, you have a small chance of succeeding. Talk to someone who works for a hedge fund or a bank trading group. Unless you know someone, no one will even listen to your pitch.

Or, you could start with a small account and maintain an astronomical sharpe ratio. Show off those results in the trade explorer and then use social media to publicize your performance. Maybe someone will notice and buy the system from you. You will probably need 1-2 years of trading it successfully before anyone will notice.

I smell some "I wanna kill the goose that lays the golden eggs" and/or "holy grail for sale" irony here.

But if the joke isn´t on those who answer, I would suggest to trade small capital, be consistent, publish your trading results. Some moment you will be able to sell signals and open PAMM.
On MT5 social trading and trading signals there are some really small accounts, that earn good money from signal followers (over 40k per month).

I don't have the time to trade it forward, my grandparents are very old this is the reason, its been tested over many years so there's no way a forward test would even be required.
