Examples of three modes of the market:

EurUSD is choppy. the MA Cloud has changed color more than once, and price action has penetrated the dark MA Cloud. Use a lot of caution.

USDCHF shows a consistent trend. Green MA Cloud above the dark MA Cloud. Look for longs.

AUDUSD shows a consistent trend, so look for longs. Nevertheless, be aware of a reversal setup. These can be tricky because the trend may just continue. The chart shows an example of a perfect reversal -- regular divergence on the RSI Unlimited after a sustained move in price, and then a hidden divergence setup going against the trend.

Hello Brapp.Which RSI Unlimited settings are using 14,3,9?Also,if I wanted to change the RSI to 7--would I change the RSI Slow Length or the Fast Length to 7?And the Momentum Length is this the same as the Momentum indicator?.....The reason I ask is that I trade divergences using RSI 7 and MACD 12,26,9...your RSI shows all the extremes of divergence so I would like to use in my trading.....Thank you......GOD BLESS

To tell you the truth, I don't know. The RSI Unlimited is an RSI of the standard RSI -- it's an indicator of an indicator, and it is based on a 14 period RSI setting. I would think that changing the slow period would therefore make the change you want because the 3 and 9 create the indicator we see based on the slow period (standard RSI) setting. Someone with more coding experience will be a better resource than me to confirm if that is right. Good luck...

I am interested to know if anyone has used this system and what results you have had...

I plan to dedicate a Trade Explorer just to this method beginning Monday, so you can see my results.

Yes, the concepts you using actually belong to Andrew Cardwell. You are trading positive and negative reversals on the standard rsi and the CFG momentum oscillator. Interesting stuff, but if you wait for the signals, then you will have a good chance of success because you are staying with the trend. There are sequences and price projection methods that go with this system as well.

The positive and negative reversals also come from Constance Brown's book Technical Analysis for the Trading Professional. I have heard that Mr. Cardwell and Ms. Brown disagree on who deserves credit for the details and the unconstrained RSI. My addition was the entry timing which come from the semafor and fib levels. I have used the fib levels for targets and am just now starting to incorporate the price projections from the RSI. Thanks for the input!

Yep, I recently read Connie's rebut to Cardwell's claim. She did not use his name, but everyone knew what she was talking about. Either way, it is a good way to look at the market. Happy trading to you!

You would need to make sure all of the indicators are set to appear on the 1 min chart. In MT4, go to Charts/Indicators List, then select the indicator to edit and choose Visualization. From there you can determine where you want to see the indicator.

Any wannabe trader wanting to trade divergence should need not look for further. All the information needed to trade is on the template.
If you have the patience to wait for the setups to occur, trade the london session.
