Yes it's happened to me about three times today but the PA quite spiky today. I guess everyone was waiting for FOMC>

we are starting a reaction to demand level that is a reaction to other demand:

the 1H level that is inside the 1D level! ,more conformation for that level even though the 1D level isn't fresh.
there s 2 ways to draw the levels: taking allso the wicks (not only the lower wick) or taking body + lower wick.
we are currently in our trade that taken via considering all the wicks and we are 1:1.5 R:R by far.

to much choppy , be picky , you will have a lot of levels, take only the most "beautiful" ones.

Hi. Sam Seiden teaches his XLT students to get in one or two pips early for exactly that reason. He has noticed it too.

A lot of supply and demand traders believe that this happens because institutions and other big players know that supply and demand traders will have their entry exactly at the zone so they get in one or two pips early to beat them to it.

Not sure about that myself, it seems to me that it could also possibly be for example that daily supply and demand levels are usually larger than the H4 ones so institutions etc trading daily supply and demand zones would naturally get in earlier anyway.

Just my two cents. Hope that it helps.

How long did price spend at the level?

Too many candles for me so not high probability enough.

More of a support level to me (lines up with 23.6 fib and previous resistance turned support)

Edit: BTW On a H1 chart I would have put the top of the level in line with the top of the body of the next candle to the right of the pole.

Thanks TraderBen,,, I make mistake drawing. The first line should be on top of bear body.

How do u find next demand , Is it strong enough ?? Thanks .

Example of it on EURO.
weak and stronger zone.

i also count what happend higher and recently.
for me personaly stronger level is also coz it have flip on same price

I would ask myself:

1. Is it a fresh level - yes
2. Was there a strong move from level - not really (especially not on a M15 chart - always study the level on smaller timeframes)
3. Is the risk reward a minimum of 3:1- yes
4. Is it with with the big picture trend (eg. H4/D1) - no
5. How much time did price spend at the level - not much on a H1 chart but quite a lot on a M15 and M5 chart
6. How did price arrive at the level - don't know yet

For me the level isn't high probability enough because of 2, 4 and 5 above. Like Thomaas I only take high probability levels.

Good points - I agree!!

I also don't like the level in my post 512 for the same reasons (whats above it) but I didn't mention them because I was trying just to stick to pure supply and demand.

Only the 1D shows nice demand level , but there is signs of weekness in the 1H TF and below so may be the price reverse from here . i would not take trades anyway because i don't trade 1D , the levels too big , i like to minimize to 1H.

Are you using that ichimoku indicator for analyse ? i guess it useless when you doing s/d analyse.

i think trick in this method is try find good level with small risk and high profit 1:3
but i want to know if this method is good with my small deposit because i can't find chances every day
the last thing i hope you or gilamonster or thomas
give us example with pictures Step-By-Step from drawing trend to define levels to enter the trade

i don't like the word "useless".
it can give more confirmation , it is my favorit indicator ( the only indicator that i use ).
for example , i just plotted ICHI in my chart and see what i got:

the blue line , kijun is netural S/R level ( i won't go into the calculation) .. look at how the level is right at the kijun.
we are above the cloud - UP TREND , the lines are in the up trend setup.

in the 4H look at the price near the resistance of the cloud + in the 50% fibo level + the cross for downtrend was above the cloud , it is a weak one.

in the 1H it looks like we are very bearish, but because wee drew our level on the 1D , the information there much more reliable for that level.

the level is broken.
no matter how good is the analysis , we can't win always
anyway i didn't take that trade , i like to trade from 1H.

Sam Seiden teaches to only take trades with a minimum of a 1:3 risk/reward ratio. BTW I have just realised that I made a mistake my post 513 above - I usually quote it as 3:1 reward to risk. It should read either 1:3 risk/reward ratio or 3:1 reward to risk ratio.

Looks like Thomaas will be doing a step by step guide on his website. Hope that he continues it and didn't get put off by some negative feedback. He is doing a really good job both here and there on his site.
