Yes, absolutely. But it may not quite get to 163 on this pass. It's in a triangle which may well end up having not three but five waves, and when it breaks north it may well fail at around 161.5/162. Maybe 163 on a spike.

After a fall back into the 140x area, then PROBABLY a fifth wave up into the 170x area.

although if it breaks over 163, then 163 and 160 could become support as per 1996.

Hey man! So many things happened in between... changed a broker (now Pepperstone from Australia, awesome!), will soon be a father, blown an account or two, learned many new things and severely updated trading method... I'll post here here and there, but not so frequently. I hope you are well, too!

mpt..interesting analysis ..curious as to how you get the fall to 140???? 50 percent retracement from the uptrend move???

That should have read 14x and not 140x. Maybe just a 38.2 retracement would be my best "guess" at this time and that would see it back to around 145.

just noticed on the weekly....look how the closes are holding tight the past 4 weeks...that may be someone big accumulating a position in a price zone......keeping it there until its ready to lift off..

Maybe a bounce at 156.2, but possible completion could be down at 155.5/155.2

How goes it, fellow traders??? Been taking a break for a bit... trying to get back in the groove and all.

It's been an interesting week so far with those JPY retail sales last night as I'm pretty sure it's the reason for the yen strength as of late. Unfortunately, I haven't traded it as well as I would have liked. How about for the rest of you guys? This thread sure has been dead lately.
