Thanks for the forum Thomas, it is very informative and I have subscribed. The concept of the DBR and the RBD are easy enough to understand and it makes perfect sense to me since I have seen it many times in my charts. I am just wishing to clear up on the RBR and the DBD. For instance on a RBR it is expected rally again if it returns to the base area and is still fresh and visa versa for the DBD? I am just making sure I am understanding this correctly. Thanks for your time and effort and also to the others who help out and instruct in here.

Instead of looking at Market open,
I will start looking now.
1. Open a monthly chart and draw supply and demand. Look for trend.
2. Do the same with weekly and daily charts but draw supply and demand zones in different colours. Again look for trend.
3. Place your pending orders at demand or supply level +/- 10 pips. You can fine tune your entry as stated by some wonderful people earlier, to lower time frames.
3a. Also look for Price patterns and divergence at supply and demand levels for higher success rate.
4. Place your stops as per your risk and as per demand and supply levels.
5. Targets as per demand and supply levels or areas of resistance / support or as per your R:R settings.
Do go through Phanti's e books as posted by azharsaeed.

I hope you and other people find this useful.

Given you are from the USA I presume English is your first language so here is a little grammar lesson.What you are trying to say is "You are welcome" or "You're welcome" not "Your welcome".This misuse of the word "your" is very common here on the FF.

There are great opportunities with trading Gaps.

There are two different types of Gaps and you will need to understand them:

  1. Gaps before a Rally or Drop in price
  2. Gaps after a Rally or Drop in price.

Gaps before Rally or before Drop in price:

  1. This is the type of Gap you want
  2. The base, or beginning of Gap is your base area( Imagine the gap as a long "exciting candle", and the body is more than 50% of its range e.g. Leg-out)
  3. Use your Fine Line PLacement to set up your entry
  4. You may need to find a better entry on a lower time frame.

Gaps after a Rally or Drop in price:

  1. I will not trade these types of Gaps
  2. I will look for a strong Supply or Demand Zone to counter trend trade the Gap.
  3. Must be at the Extreme area on a curve for me to consider entering an order for a counter trend trade
  4. Moniotr and check your correlations before setting order
