todays scalp with current direction anti-dollar

wasnt around during NFP so i kinda regret putting that less TP, it was obvious once we break the highs that the next ultimate target is the next H4 zone which is 38xx

Many thanks asim...i want ask you this..the strenght of a supply or demand zone depends also on how many candles are forming the zone?

No it does not depend on how many candles are forming in the zone. We will observe the strength by the bullish and bearish engulf candles.

Here are the last two of my trades.

Man I have been beaten by the Dollar Bears the last 2 or 3 trading days.Really surprised.Big learning curve for me.Hate to lose money but love it when it teaches you something.Updated my trading plan.

Good job Infest

Hope the rest are alive and kicking.

Good to see a couple of new faces. Here is a good PDF to start with from Kenneth Lee where he talks about the teachings of Sam Siden

Thenk you guys for your charts. I'm trying to make the same but for now i can't understand quite well the entries. I have some questions for Infest, if you have time to answer...
Are you going to BUY in this area? If no, why? If yes why?

http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/2602/msm.png

And here? First dem or second dem?

http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/8160/0qk1.png

And here are you going to sell, even if counter trend?

http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/7679/pw6j.png

Do you wait for any confirmation?

Thank you!

Been looking for a drag around alert line with pop-up for some time and after much searching found this ONE today. Should be good for you swingers trading multiple pairs.

thanks to Kill56 for sharing.

The chin breakout alert puts two lines on your chart that you can drag around and has multiple pop alerts, unlike HlineAlert (used by Kenney) which someone adapted on tsd for a pop up to appear, but the pop up appears once only, and only when you first put the line on your chart (which makes the pop-up useless).

Yes of course, PA around / in zones is key. (Engulfing, Pinbar etc.)

I touch trade past- zones very rarely these days...

Thank you Infest! Then in my (or better yours!) charts examples you would not enter in circled white areas, since there aren't any confirmation yet? Am i right?

Correct. At that time we move into these zones with pretty strong momentum, so probability of breaking is quite high and for turning needs really good imbalance, but imho much safer to wait a few additional candles to get confirmation such as already named. An exception is when talking about trend and a corrective move into an important area with trend, but even then still, there is not much lost when waiting for PA. Yes sure one might miss few pips for not picking exact turning points but the confirmation is much more worth, and even after that still can get many trades that offer 2:1 on a pullback to the confirmation, for example get an bullish engulf and take the retest to the engulfed area touch the following candle....

Presumably you are looking for an earlier PA entry (i.e earlier than the close of PA off the SD zone time frame), so for H1 you'd be looking at M30 and below?

The lower one goes the more unreliable PA becomes imo.

Do you have a reason to not look at lower time frame pa to work a better entry price, especially when on some occasions your RR requirements might not be met on the sd zone time frame.?

When price enters a zone in the past (at least few days old) I don't know if the zone is still interesting for current price. I will only know once I get PA, but in the same timeframe. I need that because an engulf on a timeframe lower might be just some weird doji on the same timeframe. I think it's just simplified in all aspects. I trade the zone on the TG, so I need PA on the same TF and my targets and exits are also on the same timeframe.

Only with trend I sometimes use smaller timeframes to get but stop nowadays then is based on the higher timeframe zone as I want the trade to last longer...

Nice rules. If I have a big strong bar into a level (climax bar), I will often zoom into lower time frames to break that bar down into smaller chunks, to then look for an engulf against the smaller bar that went into the level.
