96.06 has held, but that daily candle looks nasty...

Also if anyone thinks about getting in on this trade just beware of NZD trade balance tonight,Would hate to see someone follow this and have it tank tonight, wait until after the release for a good short term direction signal.

Yes, concede that the daily candle is very bearish but not satisfied with the close. Could do anything from here really. I'm favouring long with SL just below 96
4H shows some support below

Yep. Still holding multiple positions long... all set to BE in case the world turns upside down. I am also targeting 1.19/1.20 area but will start trailing once we get above 1.15

I'm thinking of loading up on more longs here after the better than expected NZD trade balance, I will wait and see how the china PMI comes in.

Longer time-frame... volumes / ticket numbers as measured by a certain German bank show a marked drop off in the last couple of months. Volatility down, volume down etc, especially in Kiwi, Aussie and Euro all against the US$. (volume in EUR and crosses at a two year low and implied vols mirror a similar drop). I just post this as an interesting observation and note that volatility is cyclical in nature...and it will return...

Not really a good report. The revision of previous data casts a shadow on the credibility of the current number.

Yea I saw the revisions after I posted that, still going to wait to see what china has in store for us. Went to bed +100 in GJ and woke up to be stopped at BE, I couldnt belive it... Its tough for me being a longer term trader, otherwise I would of taken my 100 pips and been done. But I dont mind breaken even 9/10 as long as that 1/10 is 5-600 pips

AUD would retest 0.9750 again? It has a strong support at 0.9610. It look like it will jump and retest that high after china pmi

Your chart is telling you to buy at cloud support, not breaking thru it as you show..

If this trend has reversed I dont think you will be seeing sup 1.14 anytime soon

May be you are right. But AUD is in correction mode. So I expect it will go up again after having at least 50% correction of wave A in wave B (AUDNZ).
