I was not aware kiwi has any commodities apart from softs, like milk, meat & similar. Softs are doing today just fine.

why would kiwi depend on gold or oil price ?

Kiwi depends on the Australian and Asian economies.
If they are not doing well, New Zealand isn't either.

good level of r t s, and exchanges of large transaction lies 0.9530-0.9489, where formerly was resistance channel. Alot of old shorts likely to unload there for minimal losses, and alot of buyers coming in there, with existing short likely to exit at that channel like formerly

0.9280-0.9320 where it was the resistance of 0.93-0.88.

now that we left 0.9530, that zone is quite crucial for a test.

if we don't get there 0.9530, there is still an asia high of 0.9568 before the leap into 0.96 zone.

0.9600 very likely to be attracted as well, somewhere says " AUD/USD option expiries at 0.9600 (today and Friday) total more than aud 2bln " i don't care thought, but some ppl says such option may attract larger transaction and price may get attracted there, either to miss or strike through.

daily bear in control as long below 0.9640, as daily's former support is breached, now standing on one of the daily support at 0.9610 zone.

When i talk crude, i talk wti which is what i trade the most. I think it has been the purest economic trade this year. We have continued surplus and low energy demand in the states. Also, less imported oil being used in the US and they just past saudi arabia for total fuels produced (crude, ngls, biofuels and distillates). Hell idk how low anymore. Wti took. Ou my 99 and 96.77 target within 3 days of each other.

i dont find fx correlated to economics as much now. Again, as long as qe is going on risk assets are a go. The worst of the bunch imo is cad. Its correlated to oil the most and is the us largest exporter of oil. Audusd is more gold correlated. I have a much lower target for gold, but as long as the fed is full throttle than im long audusd.

The thing is with china we are still seeing mundane growth relatively speaking. I do not think china alone with light everything on fire while the globe is at a stand still around them. Also you have to factor is next to nothing in growth for emerging markets.

Annnnnd, I'm looking at just above 78 on the dollar

Massive outside bar, gotta be short AUD for at least the next 24-48 hours, I think.

daily showing bearish engulfing/outside bar..and divergence..CCI above 100/oversold..i'm waiting till US open..see where the price heading..price testing previous support now on H1 chart..

I'm still bullish on AU mid term. Looking for possible buy on the dip at confluence level around 9520 (last week's long), even if just back up to the 50% again

Yesterday's BEOB is quite big so definitely going to watch cautiously before doing anything rash...

Keeping it simple, the 34EMA on the 4H looks like a nice model for resistance for the past 3 weeks. A turn off the RSI 30 surely not a coincidence. Big players cashed in their coin, is the train going to chug a lug higher again or fizzle in the station for a little break until the next move.

The AUDUSD is definitely a nice trender and I dont like to call tops but I am short this brick.

Indeed, i did take the short allready 0.9621 I will hold for a few hours and see whats happens.
Expect a 20 pips maybe more on my side.
