Even though I doubt the ECB would support this, it doesn't sound like a bad idea considering how much Europe exports.

Still holding short on cable and Aussie, as well as long AUD/NZD.

I'm going to give the EUR/USD a break for now and focus more on the promising pairs.
Will formulate a plan tomorrow. Today I take a break.

I took some profits on my cable longs after the NFP move, still bearish on the dollar and with the UK GDP prelim due out on Friday expected to be positive according to the IMF survey... the bullish cable move will hopefully continue!

Read the first post and many others - Just getting acquainted.

My Major SWING is CABLE,

My positions are Aussie and Kiwi.

My Large day trades are all USD/CHF and Gold / SILVER.

PT- personally I would be looking to buy dips, not holding shorts even if they are scalps.

What's the reasoning here?

Hey. Nice to have a gold specialist here - since the value of USD is linked to the value of gold (among other things) and my own trading method is built largely on intermarket forces acting on USD - I look forward to seeing your analysis.

That is the ultimate plan after yesterday's NFP number, but first I want to see these O/B conditions relieved. A correction was inevitable after the big boys demoralized the bears by taking out their stops.
Now I just have to cover my shorts and start to get drunk on QE4EVA

sorry to see that entry stop out - eventhough i did not take a trade, I thought your entry was promising.

As for me, I completely messed up a great Gold opportunity last night. Basically fumbled my initial entry on a "London head fake" and then lost confidence to enter on the impulse up - went short too early - sat until the roosters willing PA down to my underwater short... just classic Mr Bean in the markets kind of stuff.

Anyhow, PA has now returned to my short level so I've written myself a stern reprimand in my journal and feel ready for what may come!

Oh we are so close now... (first target 1.1580) I'm taking some off here 1.1538 (10%), looking for a minor 4 hour swing down to buy the dip again.

It worked successfully yesterday, partial profits taken at 1.1480, dip bought at 1.1440!
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

Agreed it's quite overbought here and due for a slight pullback.
I'm not taking anything off, but I will add on the dip.

This week I successfully managed to buy the weakest of the currencies I follow - the only one which actually fell against USD. If you want to succeed in this game just read my posts carefully, then do the exact opposite. Lucky I only took a small position on this. It looks like pulling back to a nice technical long entry early next week though, if AUD fundamentals stay bullish and USD stays bearish.

Hey if it keeps ranging in this area and you don't get stopped out, you should make some good coin on the positive swap
