Break over 158.5/6 takes it first to resistance at 159.3/4 and maybe 159.7/8

Below 158 probably begins a move back to 154.7 or so over the next few days.

if you look at the weekly chart..its forming a nice base on top of a base pattern.. like its coiling till the next move upward...these can be very powerful moves......it wants to go higher but the market isnt letting it

Bearish view: Assuming it does not trade to new highs and begins to fall away from here, I suspect it may take the form of what might look like a descending wedge, possibly terminating around 155. First decent bounce maybe around 157.5

Bullish alternative: A break to the previous highs around 158.8/9 would probably just see 159.3 acting as support before it moves on to next resistance at around 161.3/5

It would be cool, but it has to drop first! After the last few days of never ending bullishness, it remains a difficult call - hence the two views that I posted.

The bearish option is based on the suggestion that this could be the completion of the B wave (2nd wave) of a 3 wave correction that drops back to near the lows then launches north.

Just as an afterthought, to technically confirm a new downtrend is in place, GJ MUST trade below 157.5 in this present move. Otherwise, it may just be a retracement in the up trend.

China is sending us into a dive. Their banks are in trouble from bad loans....the whole world is watching that. so risk off is here,,,,especially in the GBP/USD.

on the daily its hitting what i call the propellent zone and on the weekly its formed a cup with ladle pattern so we will see if the the lip holds...around 156.20 to 156.30 after hitting a peak D
