I have my stats and that is why I don't trade the news releases for 7 years. It's now gambling.

I'd say that people, who trade more than 1.5 years are smart enough not to trade without strategy rules. Here's the same thing. This method works, only I'm not trading the way Tony does. In trading news you just must know what to trade, and this means a lot of researching. My win loss ratio is 4-5 wins to 1 loss. 1 loss=7-10 p and win 25-200p. You can trade every method, just must know the market is acting and risks ypu can take.

Seven years ago news trading was with 80% winning trades. Average profit was 20 pips, average loss was 5 pips. The orders were placed 40 seconds before the release in both direction. To trade event with just 2 outcomes with one order is pure gambling.

I am trading the same way you said. Buystop and sellstop orders 10sec before news release. It works for me.

Please check with them, I know that for some news they give it at 0:28 instead of 0:30

I had a very nice week until I did the wrong transaction this morning and I'm stuck with a SHORT USD/CAD transaction on everest leverage.... I feel so bad. That is really an error

Summary: this week went well, I was very organised followed all news, didn't place many gambling trades.
My account was up 14% this week UNTIL, THIS MORNING I placed a huge UDS/CAD trade by mistake. I don't remember how many years ago that happened but it didn't happen very often! result: acount up on 3.8% Still not in loss but very disappointed. I have to stay alert and avoid those kind of errors. I placed a 2 random trades to the best of my knowledge. Re-entered 1 news after failure and frustration. Here is my score:

By the logic of how all things work in life: Tuesday's ''very'' delayed NFP report is so anticipated that it will create a general frenzy. I can predict, with all my experience, that the longer you make someone wait for something, the bolder the reaction upon reception will be. The US government has created an ATOMIC NFP report. I must advise you that it is not something for the weak-hearted. Stay on the sidelines if less than 5 years of experience.

good system ,but actualy this system is enemy for broker. 1 or 2 minute Before news announcement broker will make freeze platform. I have new method with this system : I use high leverange 1 : 2000 , Please use maximum balance or full margin for order before news. we can use call margin for Stop loss ( SL 20 /15 pips. ) . but maximum laverange 1/2000 for deposit < 1000 usd . or 1/1000 for deposit < 2000 usd. State order before several second before news. Example : NFP aud , news release at 07: 30 : 00 ( sever time in mt4 ) , and we can state order at 07 : 29 : 40.

wkk ..wkk . I think you must see broker like exness. laverange maximum 1/2000 for deposit < 1000 usd . if you use 1 lot standart aud usd , margin 49 usd . pip profit 10 usd. and you can deposit > 49 usd + S L planing ( 10 /20 pips ) .but some problem with this system is platform off / freeze before news. Try it....

Do you mean strong buy USD or strong sell USD?

fixed spread is very importance . if we use floating spread , i give advice to order buy becouse low spread before news. WE can use this strategy like grid or martingale. Becouse economi news impact is always good and sometime bad .

example news NFP usd , I use currency usd jpy ,
first month , buy usd jpy 1 lot , === loss
second month , buy usd jpy 2 lot , === loss
thirds month , buy usd jpy 4 lot , === loss
fourth month , buy usd jpy 8 lot , === profit .

but this system is like gambling, you will be crazy if loss. i have forex experience almost 6 years. and best result is 17000 % from initial deposit for 1 year.
Now i canot do it again becouse mt4 always freze when news.
