Hi everybody,

I saw a "strategy tester" button included in the MT4 trading platform, anybody can tell me what is a strategy tester and how can i use it?

no entry till now... confius some fill some dont...

my observe im small Timeframe EU and GU no sign fall.... and price move up

Thanks for the explanation. I saw two selections displayed on the tester, one is MACD, another one is moving average. I had try to select one of it and back test the previous price movement, both selection tends to lose money every past month. Seem like if we trade by using the MACD and MA indicators it is not a good idea.

those EA are included in mt4.... search any EA out there and try backtest...u may got FINDING

Hi all,

Anybody can point me to the right direction on how to estimate when a downtrend or uptrend is coming?

Mostly i am trading in M30 chart, quite many of the times i catch the wrong trend or sometime the price does not move too much and it has no trend at all.

So, it made me either lose money or have very little profit or no profit at all.

Are there any symptoms when a big trend is coming soon?
