i am adding my possible expectation for AU. firstly 0.9419 is important for bearish outlook.
831 pips value come from top and if we investigate 831 pips cycle works as S-R levels.
and daily possible bounce area marked in chart. i enter my short order at those levels and waiting price to go below 0.9419. if not it is not bearish for me.

You still didn't realise the AUD was going up in anticipation of a deal being done for the past few days, which is/was pretty basic knowledge (and in fairness it seems not many people here did, crazy.). Seriously though, all joking aside that's probably something anyone who didn't realise should look into. Don't take my word for it, just go back and check what happens to the AUD during periods going in and out of uncertainty. Or you can probably find something with a google search where someone has done the work for you. For example look at what happens to the AUD when the euro bailout stuff went down and was resolved etc. It has been happening for a long time and is nothing new. Same with NZD.

I'm not touching AU today but just took an AJ long position at 93.71 I think as the US market opens in the green AJ will surge to 94.00 with ease then take a run at the 9/19 high of 94.40
I love my charts and my technical analysis just as much as the next trader, but sometimes you just have to be reasonable and keep it simple, and this trade was a good example of that. No fancy indicators, no in depth complex analysis, just a simple risk on play knowing the US market was opening higher and would encourage risk and believing that the ridiculous apocalyptic debt ceiling default scenario was pure rubbish. Know your key supports and resistance levels, set your entry, exit, and stop loss and then sit back pat yourself on the back.
