AUD/USD has caught a bid tone one hour into Tokyo, following China services PMI for September , which came at 55.4 vs 53.9 prior, also being helped by the upgrade in China GDP growth to 7.7% from 7.4% by HSBC.

GUys, if you "knew" the EUR/CAD pair was almost surely going to keep going up for several more weeks, probably several more months, how would that affect you playing the aud/usd pair, because if you look at the daily chart on that puppy,the euro has been going up for 2-3 yrs against it!!!! I wrote a whole synopsis on it on the eur/usd thread just now. Im not happy with the way the aud is performing in general and not at all against the euro or gbp. This thing could be kept in check until Chinas 8 day holiday is over. Oh....you guys forgot China isnt doing currency trading for 8 days?????? (Not much anyway) I just took a fat position on the euro/cad long. I love the dailly and together with the weekly its like a roaring train, and the nice thing is on the 60 min its down for the day. What a great time to go long. NOW. I also am long the aud/usd as you can read my posts from last week or two.

Mima, you are funny. Im just venting. Im sure a lot of us are sick and tired of how slow these markets have been especially if you can only trade the asian session!

9520 is the key number to break :

I say it again. On the weekly chart everything becomes so clear for this pair. The .382 fib line is right at 9520 ans even if you dont believe in fibs one can see that the last high on the weekly was 9520! After that it is clear sailing. Nothing is in the way. Even for guys who do not use the weekly, your jaw has got to drop looking at this chart. But, there is one caveat......................what if we chop around for 2 months and never make it to 9520, and our money isnt doing us any good.....and then the damn thing drops like a rock to 86 or 87. One of these 2 scenarios will happen? Why so extreme? Time. We wasted/spent a huge amount of time at these present levels. One of the best traders in the world and my mentor, Paul Lange, said that the size of your sideways movement is an indicator of the coming move once it breaks out. I say , lets be conservative and even cut that in half. We are in for a hell of a move.But it might be Christmas by the time it does it,tho. LOL Guys, seriously, pull up the weekly and tell me you dont wish you could borrow 100k tomorrow? Well, dont get quite that excited but its one of the sweetest charts Ive seen in a long time. And when you get a set-up on a weekly you better have 250-500 pip stops. You dont have to use all of it, but you wont get whacked out by the wicks and tails and the sheisters looking to hit stops. That was tip #1. Send a check to my P.O. box please. And yes I did study for almost a year with Paul. Yes thats the guy who runs Pristine's trading room where they get over 10k to join it!!!! I love the guy but nobody is worth 10k. =)

Time frame 1h....Break down adaptive moving average (9,2,30) and it is very close to do that and with MA (50)...
The good thing with the future is that it is progressively approaching...

So your predict that Aud should move up to 9520 ?

No. I am only saying that it MUST get there to show medium term trend can now be fairly confidently seen as bullish. But I would like to see it break thru that number and stay above it all week. Every single day!!!!! Thats when I could admit I made a living trading. I couldnt pay my car insurance with Forex! And these mkts have no follow thru and no volume. I dont know now if the aud will go long with the USD and short with the eur and gbp. And that's no good. I want it strong against all currencies. Anyway Im saying stand aside until we either break thru 9520(in 2-3 days?) if you are going long. If you are short, I have no number for that...yet. This whole week has been awful, hasnt it? NOW I DONT CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE AUD....JUST GIVE US ONE NICE RED CANDLE ON THE WEEKLY.JUST MOVE!!! So tired of small candle and doji candle days for this pair and eur/usd too. Only the gbp is kicking butt.

AUD yield short vol trade from DB, interesting basis for this idea, I suppose in essence the idea of curve flattening is a tad AUD bearish. Nevertheless quite interesting.

I can see why. Day timing isn't a perfect one but I got into the market a min ago. Sold AUDUSD @ 0,9396. SL @ 0,9424.
