If you noticed, this is a failed, bearish Head and Shoulders pattern. When these patterns fail, price goes the opposite way.

Closed the remaining for +13.9 pips. I saw AJ is retesting it's last swing low and GJ is also starting to go down. Oh well profit is a profit. Laterz.

Maflip, whats your M1 and M15 Ichi settings? I've seen 9,40,52, also 9,80,52 and you also mentioned something about only setting the price back by 5 periods instead of 9. Can you please elaborate?

9, 80, 52 is if I want to see the chinkou vs tenkan of the 5 mins chart. 9,40,52 if you want more signal. stick to the 9,80,52 as it is more stable and less fakes. You probably meant displace the chinkou by -5 instead of the default of -26, plot the default setting of chinkou by itself then look at my chart you will see what I mean, the chinkou by default is way back there -26 bars the latest bar. Here's a template to make it easy on you. For scalping, trade only when 14 atr is above 1440 moving average. Take the long signal when chinkou vs tenkan is hitting the bottom of 1 min tma or 5 tma at the direction of the 15 mins chart when long, and opposite when short. Keep watch on the 15 min chart even if both chinkou and tenkan is above/below kijun but if there is a cross there might be a trend change or consolidation coming, with that scenario either stop trading and wait for all lines to confirm again with a new higher high/lower low. For you, I suggest only trade when chinkou, tenkan and kijun on the 15 mins are all going the same direction, till you get really good at this.

For scalping, stay with the ATR rule, only trade when ATR is above 1440 moving average.

So I woke up to find out if I stayed on the trade it would have hit TP two. Oh well...

By the way, when there's a chinkou alert, make sure it's also above/below tenkan and not just the price.

I have quite a few questions coming up. I hope it's not an issue.

1. ATR rule still need ATR14 to be over MA 1440 for atleast 30 mins?
2. I don't understand the chinkou vs tenkan above/below TMA rule? Is that only on the 15 min chart to get the bigger picture?
3. I noticed you get the 5 period chinkou setback using two Ichis. Nice However I've seen the Ichi window before and you can have those settings there. What do you use that for?

Thanks for you help. Yesterday went well with this system, but I was using 9/26/52. I'll see how it goes with 9/80/52 with the 5 period setback.

oh look at that beauty.

Nzd/Jpy, i got a little bit too late at my desk, so i couldnt enter this setup, nice SHS Pattern and a series of higher lows, the entry would have been at 81.20, now im looking for a retest of that 81.20/25 area to enter with a stop at 80,95 and a limit at 81,85.. lets see, if it will give me this entry price.

I don't use TMA Slope, I'd rather look at the actual chart PA than rely on an indicator for filter. However, that TMA slope does look like a nice indicator.

15 min TF filter. EJ reconfirmed the trend to the upside with a higher high and chinkou went back above price and tenkan.

Now, look at the 1 min TF and watch a bounce up of chinkou crossing above tenkan at the bottom of 1 min tma or 5 min tma.
