Yep. Never a bad thing to take partial profit and set SL at BE.
That way you don't risk giving it all back.
It's a psychological thing that I managed to conquer years ago. Not properly managing your trades by taking some off the table is mostly caused by hope and greed... something that takes some discipline to eradicate from one's trading style. It's not easy, but essential for survival.

i dont trade what i believe... i trade what the chart tells me... its a whole different story... if i stick to a working method that gives me 80% winning chances at a 1:1 Risk Reward ratio then i am still profitable.

What I meant is that different people interpret (read) same chart differently and therefore believe in their own interpretation (reading)...

You'll need a break below 9310/20 support first.
So far on H1 I see HH and HL. As long as that theme remains, the hourly is bullish.
H4 is still bearish overall and only a break above 9400 will change that.
I guess time will tell.

Looks like the US gov shutdown is a reality for tonight, so that may play on this and all major pairs for the next few days.
If the gov remains shutdown for the rest of the week, on Friday before close I expect to see a significant equity market correction to the downside accompanied by safe haven flows into US Treasuries, German Bunds and JGBs. This will undoubtedly create a lot of volatility in spot markets, so my strategy will be to keep leverage very low and SLs very wide.
