WTF happened? got triggered in and stopped out with slippage at 1343.87. My sl was 1340.50

i highly suggest not to use buy / sell limits at all. they might be possible in asia if there isn't news. i might be wrong if your position is a live sell already. market will experience slippage when there's a sudden volatility and slip to the next price.

So sometimes its critical to move price to a good number/price's resistance as there might be orders there, slip there is better than another point.

europe and us tend have higher volatility. as any person may start farting and drive the market when you least expected.

if u haven't sell live and attempt to really sell using sell limit, why not wait for price to reach that level and wait for bear actions to confirm seller? and join in later for safer ride. Kill the last bull at top of range. if want to sell.

often such unexpected breakout may slipped your stop loss to next higher level too.

i rather buy / sell stops. buy stops would have save u that kind of boring range trading and breakout in green and exit safely/be.

I am just going according to my elliott wave counts.
As such we need another push up to complete wave 5.
and based on the rules of EWT, that outlook will not invalidate until price breaks below 9187

No actually. I wouldn't long this pair if it was the only pair worth trading.
The Aussie is destined for the dustbin in my opinion, but based on my long term EW counts, this down move is a wave 4 of the C wave of an ABC correction upwards. So, I am waiting for the completion of the upward ABC correction before shorting. I should have shorted at 9527 when it was up there, but unfortunately I missed the train.

i think weekly and monthly may close very near to 0.9320/40.

below 0.9280, bear in control.
