Thank you for helping everyone. Specially newbies like me. Slowly learning about basket trading and your EA's.
can u please guide me which indicator is to be loaded on 1mnt chart for bsk-14 & bsk-5. When I try to load your new EA on 1 hr offline chart it is not getting loaded bz 1mnt chart indicator is not the right one. Give me indi-name and I will find out from there. Appreciate your help.

that is not indi for this strategy, i just use it to guage direction on higher timeframes, its attachhed here

the XO indicator is such a solid indicator

in long trends confirmed by the indicator we can be waiting weeks for next signal whilst we are raking pips!

I was thinking how can we predict when next opposite signal is likely to occur

There are some solid strategies based on the MACD predictor - look it up - it visually shows where the price has to be for the MACD to switch trends, its amazing how accurate it can be.

Hence the XO stopline is born - it shows visually on the chart where the price needs to be to either continue the trend - the step up trend or switch to opposite trend.

gray line is just the middle of the two.

We could use this to determine stoploss or trail a stoploss in long trends and also confirm bias of the trend when its likely to turn - above or below gray line

good indi to trail the SL , keeps u in the trend for long time. This could be used as one of the exit strategies.

Did you change your settings of XO on chart H4? I remembered you said it was 1230..But my 1230 looks totally different form yours...
I've tried from 850,860,870,880 ...till 1480,but no setting matches yours.It consuses me
Do you mind sharing your settings here?

try xo 1090
its all depending on the broker feeds and maybe the time zone of the brokers to.
some have more movements because of different spreadds.
find your coresponding settings with the xoprofitSinglev3shiftbar indicator from manuelfx in our archive folder above!!

use Basketv6 ; Basketv8 or (Basketv8.1 for advanced other combinations)
take a normal Chart with a lot of pip activity like (GBPJPY) draw Basketv6; or v8 on top of it define your type 5 or type 14 then your TF like 01,05,15,60,240.. etc
for each offline chart place one Basketv6,or 8,, indi in the Chart and let them rest there for ever.
go to offline chart in the MT4 Menu and double click on the not highlighted offlineTF called (KOS--) or (BSKT--) jupps, there it is.
easy isn't it good luck and enjoy!!

boptimize = tue
is the intelligence that calculates ongoing the best XO value based on the value between Max and MinXO

Xo setting xxx
is a value when you turn off the ( boptimize ) above but still want to see the triangles and or the profit value of your preferred xxx like xo 1230 for example

Draw triangles = true
shows you the exact graphic the P/L pips

Max Min Xo as indicated above

StepXO calculates you the box size more or less refined in steps of 100 or 5 to have a result of 400- 500 or 405 410 415 etc.. of a box size

shiftbar from the shift to the next box immediate 1 or 10 for 10 bar later

spreaddds of your combined basket my c5 is only 15pips my Bsk14 is only 28 an Alpari14Basket for example would be 55

pipsfactor for micro or mini accounts depending ,,,, for me 10 is fine

Countoptimize how many bars back to be counted for the results (1000 bars in TF 15 would be +- 11Days)

RepaintBars show me the results graphically and P/L pips of how many bars back based on the the countoptimize calculation value

Alarm when changing from sell to buy vis-versa

bSpeaks aloud when alarm



Thats how far I understoud the XOProfitSinglev3shiftbar Indi

Hi Bomi,

That has no relevance from my own understanding. If you note every one using that EA has it too. So simply disregard is what I can say. Unless some of the codes here have a better explaination for that, if not, just trade as normal.

yes

if you're stressed for a reason and don't want to deinstall your EA and current Setup with magicnumber Basket running, you can simply
mousetouch this "BUTTON" click and drag it your T101EA will than show the unhappy face and not trade until you reactivate it via the
Start button again. same thing if your EA is ready to run but you don't want him to open a basket, ex. (just before End of Day)
