Hmmm. Put in the new EA and just tried to trade the GBP Inflation Report Hearings, but no pending orders were placed. I used two brokers and two VPS,s. The only thing I changed was the EA and I put slipcheck to true. Anyone else have a problem?
Ah ... no, they did work. I was watching but just didn't see the pending orders, perhaps due to a slow connection from my laptop to the VPS's. I checked the account history and the pending orders were there.

I have used the EA in different versions for the last months and it is great.
For future versions I will suggest you to consider the following:
Could it be an idea to implement ATR ( Average true Range ) to TP and SL sow we get an dynamic SL / TP
I suggest:
Possibility to set the ATR also for other TF then the one that trades are taken at. F.ex if we use 5m tf to straddle the trades we can set the TP to ATR 1 H with period 1 ( last candle ) and TP to 80% and SL to 40 % of the last 1H candle ( if we use period 1) Hope you get the idea

These news event are in no way, shape or form connected to ADR
There are manual settings for TP & SL, surely you can calculate these out beforehand
Or if you want dynamic, a tightening trailing stop would give more of the maximum profit than any preset % of ADR
Be in control of what you want to do not just hand it over to the EA
That's my opinion and I approve of this post

Erebus, I agree to your post for trading the spikes. But I also use more conservative settings for some news and are then following the trend that is formed after the news. And for that metod it would be nice to have the oportunity i describe. And the function I describe will be nice for backtesting actually not for taking the trades ( I have trademanagers where I can put in the TP / SL with ATR but then it is not possible to backtest ) . I absolutly manage to set the tp / sl manually for my straddle live trades

I use the FX Street calendar http://www.fxstreet.com/economic-calendar/ to plan for news announcements, it notes the early PMI announcements and also allows to change time zone so you can set to your broker time frame to set Alan's EA correctly.
Lv.2 economical data - I'm referring to "supposedly" lower volatility announcements, as per PMI announcement here, as opposed to Lv.3 announcements like ECB speech or NFP, where you'll get the most volatility. I'm still looking for a pop off the announcement but not an explosion where the LP's (Liquidity Providers, Banks) pull their offers. The idea behind this is less price gaping therefore less slippage, less potential for big spikes so just chasing 10-20 pips across 3 pairs. There is more chance it is a fizzer though and neither side gets triggered, but then nothing gained and nothing lost.

The High and Medium on FF Calendar may be similar, but I do have fxstreet's econ calendar on hand and I would be comparing them in future.
