The problem here it seems is that the topic is being discussed at different levels by different people. If you go back you'll see most people here are talking at a system design level, and not merely at a order execution level. All my speech was kept at a system design level, and for good reason. Execution effect can be nullified through automation, and becomes completely irrelevant if the system being traded is without edge. So ​what's really left to discuss here and is way more important in the grand scheme of things, is what importance should be given to entry/exit in order for a system to have an edge. And obviously for me when it comes to system design, objectively, logically speaking, entries and exits can only have the same importance.

But you know already what I meant with that, every day lessons in trading should open new doors for the average Bear/Bull, so in a persons life time we all ( maybe not all) started by learning not to pee in our diaper - and by today we have learned not to do that.....I do hope so..... we all start somewhere and I do hope that we get things sooner or later...... so it is like going to school, every day a new lesson, if one is serious in what one is doing, I hope that we learn every day something new....And YES when we reach the end of the Road we know a lot, or I should say some of us do, and then it may not do us any good, but learning keeps us in shape, besides it could also be financially rewarding.....

I was just thinking that "what if" I had a sudden realization just
before I died.... like "what if I could have known that BEFORE I died?"

Seems to me that "before a lifetime" is the best time to accumulate knowledge.
That's all I meant.

Well Slim, if that would be the case, you would have to use it in your next time around, so this way your sudden realization would not be wasted, and yes maybe it could be an earth shattering Idea, so you would become the next????
