I dont trade the nzd because it has a spread of 7 on my terminal so I boycotted it. I trade the audnzd though and I know that this currency is smacking everything in its path. But there will be better analysis after tonight's info release

Commodities given support ( I think the fundamentals will re-assert soon though)

My analysis turned to be right, and the $ moved down forever and it liked to be in the over sold area. Unofrtunatly, I got nothing from such a movement because the OB Stochastic preveted me from jumping it...What a pity!

Hi Rehab

Dont beat yourself up too much. Trading this release would have been a big gamble. In the last few weeks you have been a better predictor of $ weakness or strength. That will translate to money consistently if not today. So we battle on. I manages to close out my cride short before the crude storage figures so this upmove did not chew my account but I missed this whole upmove in crude

Today was good for me: Not because of the money I made but because of the money I didnt lose

- closed out my euro short for -5 pips
- closed out my crude oil short for a profit
- didnt sell cocoa
- dodnt sell mini soybeans


Let all this settle and we will make money. It is not the one off block buster trade that makes us traders but the daily weekly constant taking money from the markets

Dear Olu, I am happy that you managed to get out with an over all profit. I like very much your consistency and that you always look at the long run, while I get stuck at the details! I am watching now the $ and the crude oil. The $ will pull back iMHO, but I do not see any oppertunity to go up on majors for now except UJ (do you?), so I got long. I am short USOil because I am bearish oil. I re-entered last night with the new contract. cheers

I see the logic in your trades. I am going to wait for any further reactions from the Fed speech. I am bearish crude as well but I might leave it alone for the rest of the week and look at thing over the weekend.

Now we are on opposite sides on the uj because I believe we will ultimately see 110 on this baby. We could move lower before then though but the BOJ will jawbone it if it gets uncomfortable

), good to feel that I am not the only one inpatient! yes I remember very well your chart cause I told myself "Olu is really good in picking up H&S", but I am not on this trade, I am not on any crosses, even my favorite JPY corroses, I decided to strictly stick to majors in forex till I learn it. Good luck!

The waiting was for crude oil mainly. I can be impaitient too though but I am getting better

Dollar Index - Is the selling over? The market has a funny way of dealing with shock and I will not put it past them to now start buying the $. We are back to where we were before there was a hint of tapering. So now the relative strengths of each country's economy should fundamentally dictate the strength of their currency imho

I donīt know if the move up of the $ is just a pullback or $ will resume the bull. I guess it is still too early to decide, not before it tests the resistance at 10,64-10,7 and then the trendline around 10,8 IMHO.

Good morning 9/5 'rs,

Olu was hot on the cattle trade a while back which was a great move.

We are getting another shot at it again and now the chart is really getting toppy.

Huge H & S pattern and trendline break and now a big line in the sand.

Time to get ready.

Do your own DD as always.
