Never confuse technical (charts) with fundamental (economic news). The later doesn't care how the chart looks or what the chart is saying, it is a stand alone event by itself and it supersedes any technical analysis.

Good point. Both are important. when there is no news or fundies to trade there are always techs, when the techs break it's usually cause of 1 of 3
FEAR, BAD NEWS, OR TAKING PROFIT.

My plan for this pair was to get long at the lowest possible point I could using the weekly that I thought I would get filled.

I haven't written much, yet, I am not surprised at the new monthly high. I would like to see NZD overnight rates up a bit but, I cannot complain.
This has been and still is a great trade in my book.


Went long at triangle bottom expecting a break, ---- I know my call doesn't make anyone else money in hindsight, thus,
when I have a notion I will throw it out there, and you all can take it or break it.

I'm out now, looking to see if we test the broken TL, but I will be happy with a fill long at 8050,
should this keep up

targets. 8200 and and 8300 area in the "session wise" context.
I just use major simple support and resistance areas for my TP - SL (if used) and entries.

Trading is only BRAIN SURGERY if you make it such.

Same chart and the lines held Here is the 240 MIN or (H4) view of the take and break, from the previously posted daily - last post or one before i believe.....
Notice the hesitation then eruption on the DTL!

I am putting large daily supports at the broken DTL = 7920
yet I like the more TRUE support / old resistance appx 7940
then higher up we go to 8030
and possible interim support @ 8100.

Funny that, price above 0.84 now, how's the Wolf doing?

Actually, you can ask a 5 year which way price is going & trade accordingly

In fact since 0.78 you can take a long trade with 50 pips stop at each BRN and still be open now

What Wolfe says is that without a closure below the previous low you will not enter short. As the closure has not occurred, then the trading signal has not started.

I guess it is true what they say about top & bottom pickers - the desire to be right (and be able to show everyone) over power the desire to take a simple trade and make some pips

better be more clear when you post chart & signal, seems Willow thinks it was a sell from the posts I read
