just for clarification, there will be no rate decision as such at the RBA minutes but rather what the outlook is and confirm why rates were left on hold previously

Does the chart resemble H&S (gold H1). Anyway the bounce is getting smaller....going down?? Waiting for tokyo open (yesterday mkt was close) to see pent up reaction but my eyes keep closing. Might just go to bed anytime now

I am bearish on AUD/USD.
The RBA has indicated that it would like a lower Australian dollar, so we could be due for a correction to the currency’s recent sharp gains. Over in the US, speculation about QE tapering continues, and uncertainty leading up to the FOMC Statement could lead investors to stick with the safe-haven US dollar.
Simple is powerful all the time.

May your words be heard. No, Aussie definitely isn't the only pair I am trading. The better PA, the bigger average range, the smaller spread - the more chances you'll find me hunting one or another instrument for pips.

Right now we're at a short term double bottom and the question is, will we bounce back up now from this double button, or push through and head down?

We'll find out soon enough.

New gov't is focussing on fresh investment. Forget about depressed mining sector. Carbon Tax/Mining tax will be gone. There will be a continuation of the mining boom as we eliminate the policies of an overtaxing & incompetent government which will lead to more jobs, more confidence and more investment.

i agree for the short term yes it will push aud down (a mention of a possible, maybe at some stage cut depending on something or other)
