just taken another long when candle on H1 rejected previous week high(now acting as support) plus a few other things etc2. Going to bed soon. Hope it doesn't screw me while I am asleep. I actually do not like trading the asian zone. Just itchy fingers

i'm cashing out. this pair is married in the 9220-9250 range as far as i can see. Not gonna be any action til Thursday at best. I prefer a little more movement than that.

Oh BTW all the talking heads are still saying taper but just on a small scale. The big boys are hollering if the debt ceiling isn't raised by next month we are gonna go belly up. Go figure. They seem to be hiding this mostly from the population it seems..... the news because they know we are gonna throw a fit. Jeez...these jerks running our government are killing us.

We see M5 and H1 charts, they see Daily, weekly and month charts and look back to years in the past........................IMO

Excellent chart pips29! I show the same thing. What many people ,whether into fibs or not do not realize is that unless the chart shows it is terribly overbought or oversold, the .786 is usually the last chance to bounce off and be able to continue the trend by probability and also r/r. A guy named Mark Braun did the research on this for many yrs of charts to back that up! So if you break thru the .786 the odds are you will keep on going. Especially on a daily! To me a 5-15 min chart isnt even worth the time to even use fibs except maybe as an entry tool. And thats maybe. I use the DAILY as my trigger chart, WEEKLY for the confirm, and HRLY for entry. I am seeing when using the 60min chart as a confirm to get in, youd have gotten destroyed over the last 6 months in this type market on any pair. CAN ANYONE DISPUTE THAT? LET ME KNOW...PLEASE.

Anyway, those of you that know me know I rarely make a recommendation on this pair, but I want to say that so far, it looks like AUD/JPY is the highest probability to cash a winning ticket on the AUD. I will give you my reasoning. If JPY is strong and AUD is strong, THE aud/jpy pair will almost always rise. One reason I believe is that the interest rate, low as it is now, is still what the banks want in the end and AUD is always paying more of a carry. Second if JPY starts to support their dollar by suppressing it again, we win automatically!!! #3 If Gold can post a nice 100-200 buck rally the AUD will definitely blow away the JPY. But if Gold gets weaker and JPY stays weak like now or if they support rthe suppression of their dollar as before....AUD still goes up. So in my eyes, the AUD/JPY pair has the added benefit of help from the Japanese govt AND the lowest interest rate is from Japan. WHAT MORE COULD WE ASK FOR?
