I am basically using TMA1 over TMA5 method with chart patterns, I do not use SL but some time get huge dd when there is 1 side trend, I am working to come over this situation.

Correct, his style does have potential, but, other people just don't see it, all they see is the account going bust. With a hit rate of 85%, all he needs is 7 consecutive trades to make >10,000% gain. The idea is start small then take the profit and go home, rinse and repeat. It might take 2-4 tries before it happen due to bust, but it can be done. Its not for building up capital in the long term though because it will go bust at some point.

So for his trading plan, starting capital will only need to be $100 to turn it into $12800 in 7 trades. Formula is 2^7 x 100 = $12,800. Off course he will have to risk 100% of the capital for each trade to make it in 7 trades.

To add, this will be more probable in a higher time frame though (bigger stops, bigger tp) because on a scalp your chance of getting stopped is much higher.

The problem I see based on looking at his avg win and avg loss. The average loss is about 7x more than his average gain. It's not a 1:1, meaning, in order for him to get that 85% win rate the stop is much wider. So for every $100 he wants to gain he will need $700.

The Table:
To gain: / Capital needed
$100 = $700
$200 = $1400
$400 = $2800
$800 = $5600
$1600 = $11200
$3200 = $22400
$6400 = $44800
$12800 = $89600

So... There is a bit of a problem there... Unless, if he can get an 85% win rate with 1:1 ratio TP/SL then it will look like this.

$100 = $100
$200 = $200
$400 = $400
$800 = $800
$1600 = $1600
$3200 = $3200
$6400 = $6400
$12800 = $12800

Much better.

Last week we started as a runaway gap on JPY pairs (gap over the weekend then run up without looking down). If they maintain the price high till tomorrow they might do the same thing this week. Just a thought...

So, I've hit the buy button on AUD/JPY 150 pips stop loss risking $16, no TP just a trailing stop. Let's see what happens. This is my first non scalp trade after going live.

Scalp entry long TMA M1/M5 Entry rule. (I gave it a go with all the hype here. So yes it works, but I do use a stop. Made 16 pips $17, still bleeding on my long entry on a bigger time frame though. However, my scalp trade already paid for it.

Right now i'm currently looking at AUD/USD for a possible long entry. Will wait what happens after US Market opens though. Will make the hit if an entry is validated.

Agree, market is kinda slow right now... I was a little worried about my gbp/jpy trade earlier. I was thinking if it continues to consolidate, US MM might fill the gap short on gbp/jpy stopping me out. But, I stuck to it and it worked. I'm still bleeding on my AUD/JPY trade though, big possibility of a gap fill trade might happen when US market opens. But I think my stop there is in just about right area so hopefully that trade is alright.

USD/JPY seems it already filled the gap... So, I'm expecting AUD/JPY might do the same thing later(aka follow the leader). But who knows right...

On the positive side. A bullish pennant has formed on AUD/JPY. Being the F's MM's are though, they might first attempt a false breakout to the downside (gap fill) then push this thing up hard.
