I have left an open long position over the weekend , Does anyone think we gonna see a gap due to the elections ?

Yeah, I took a long too @ 9187 just b4 mkt closed, but very minimal risk cos u might never knw where n how far price wud go.

Its actually a mini position, 0.1 lot, so dats $1 per pip. I'm fully aware it cud go either way, if it gaps up, good for me, n if down, I'll bear d loss. But a gap up would just be cool.

I am looking for a big up in the market open but also see a kings crown forming on the dailys. I'm leaving positions open over the weekend to get the gap but looking to get out after 100 pips. That's just my view

Both recent levels saw a 1-2 pip break and then reversed.


9185 and 9215

that would break the long term trendline. why not go for more?

i dont see aud going further high, all i see is a sharp fall. Overbought seriously. But because i dont know how election results affect the market, i cant be so sure of the fall. I will have to wait for entry to go short.

I will be shorting AUD/USD targetting 0.9050 area. If we reach 0.9250 I will max out leverage and unit sizing. anyone who followed my calls last week shoulda made some nice gains.

i preffer the bullish breakout. if we see monday intraday strong buyers i will enter long.

that is just a trendline that has been mirrored


its purely psychological, these trendline levels aren't brick walls at all

what i take my triggers off of is price action and RSI confirmation


but yes if a sustained break of 9350..

target is 9500

then 9650

then probably time for a massive sell

Don't blow your account going counter trend.

No large shorts will happen until at LEAST October, my thinking is probably more like November at the earliest though.

Sure you may see a decent scalp off that level, so keep stops tight...



We might even have to wait until 2014 for this to finish correcting/consolidating.. and then maybe can go to 8500 or 8300 or 8100

(will be easy to tell if fundas confirm techs --- RBA is very transparent)

2. we going to have stable govt after long time
