Switch it to 1 hour chart and change the pivot to weekly and the TMA to daily. The no trade ATR rule does not apply on an hourly chart its only for scalping. There's less fakes in the hourly chart.

Could you tell me your settings for the 14 period ATR for the usd/jpy ...eur/usd..eur/jpy . I mean the levels of the horizontal
line which you use to determine if there is enough volatility to take a trade. I am using the 1min chart for scalping.

Its depends on how he used it. Its only an indicator that tells you there's good volatility or not, it can also be used for proper SL and TP targeting. I don't use ATR for buy/sell entry triggers.

Your charts is really standing out clear. What indicator do you use for your support/resistance lines. Can you please share your template.

Unconfirmed trend trade to the short side. Chinkou span (Black line) is not below the bar its with.

Confirmed counter trend to the long side. And the rest is history Next trade is after JPY policy statement.

Still kicking some arse... I need to work on probably creating trailing stops for this. However, I need to train my mind to be able to do that first.

This might be something worth looking, GBP/USD is testing R1 and holding. However, I still have no long entry on my 1 hour chart. At the London open I wouldn't be surprised if they try to hit stops first before rallying. This is not a scalp trade but I thought I'd mention it.

Not very proud of this trade even if it won. I broke rule 1... Not enough time elapsed on ATR before it would have been ok. It's just I got a bullish bias on gbp/usd right now that I have to get the trade. Note to self, don't break the rule again. TP was missed by .2 pips and I took profit at 6.2 pips. MY TP is 8 pips on this one. I almost got stopped out as well, it missed my stop by 2 something pips. Might go up more but I'm a scalper.

Sorry I want to correct myself, it should have been two more bars after that arrow pointing up. Because that's where the yellow line moved up the blue.
