I closed 1/2 my long right before the news thankfully. Now I'm looking to add it back at a discount!

Right. Sometimes it's not even the info they present but sly remarks traders or robots pick out to buy or sell.

I may to look to short EURAUD. Euro hasn't done a damn thing, and expect Aussie to move up prior to news. TP 20 pips

Well 2013 has been "rough" for FX traders. At least the automated ones. I know most of us are discretionary, but trading is done primarily in deciphering this monetary policy contagion we have because its all at levels no one knows the outcome to.


Than you have remarks politicians and bankers make that seem to be worth more than the data itself.

Currently .899 to .902 is 'no man land' area.

Bears lost control and will try hard to take it back, meanwhile bulls are not in full control either.
So let's see how they resolve this..

From low to high on the daily is an increase of 2,811 pips. From the high to current is a decline of only 373 pips. If it doesn't work than I exit.

AUD data was not great. Is this further evidence
that China manipulates its own data
IDK
but seems a bit bearish
Monthly pivot (support) @ .8992
Further; weekly pivot @ .8965

There might be a possible bearish divergence (short term)
if you believe in such.

I think next news would define it as from here I can see some stop loss hunting for those who jumped long in the middle of battlefield but I excpect further up in the next hours getting long at 8969 with tight SL
