Who are your favourite brokers?

I am not concerned about '' how to do backtesting with % 99 modelling quality'' , since the expert run on the live demo datas.

I am concerned about how to run the expert(TP,SL,trailing stop buy, sell etc will be run on demo data) on most profitable demo account AND send only buy sell signals from demo to real account.So the expert will not be effected from brokers'(since the broker is market maker) manipulated data. Cheers .

Guys, dont you know the statistics about brokers and their spreads? I mean if there is a list of 5 for example "top brokers" with the lowest/highest spreads?

Hello I just registered in Tradefort and got no deposit bonus $5, but today I got MC and losing that bonus. But my friends said Tradefort can gives us second chance and give us $5 no deposit bonus again. I think this is very good promotion and many traders said Tradefort has good withdrawal system, just for 2 hours we can received our withdrawal in LR account.

I'm having some success with Oanda at the moment. I like their offerings and even though I love/hate Java it's useful to have a web based platform. They do MT4 as well.

Also I have been pleased with IBFX and FXCM and FXPro on the whole. FXCM have been producing occasional nasty spikes which I don't see on other broker feeds. FXCM spreads seem to get very big at about 10pm UK time - watch out for that if you are an EOD trader. Oanda too, but not nearly as wide.

I ditched Alpari and Hirose because pending orders had to be placed more than 5 pips away from the price. Apart from that they seem OK.

No such thing as "no requotes", though. No broker can offer "no requotes". If the price is moving sharply and you try to get in, it's like "off quotes" or some such excuse. I'm not complaining, I wouldn't offer entries in a fast moving market. It's just that advertising "no requotes" is being economical with the truth.

Completely unbiased, the above, I assure you. But lots of brokers I haven't tried.

FXCM active trader, FXPRO mt4 and ctrader decent brokers. I make big regular withdrawals from both accounts and have not had any problems with them so far

Thanks for the input Makavell. Of course, withdrawals are a consideration. I wouldn't expect a problem with any well known broker, especially those on the Forex Factory "approved list".

I'm researching Global Prime (Forex) at present. Havent been able to find one negative review yet. That doesnt mean they are perfect. But so far all the research is favourable.

is there any brokers that doesn't change the order price when the market is volatility ? for example , my order has profit of 4 pip , and i close it , after the accept of server i only have 2 or 3 pip left .. so i'm looking for broker that when i close or open an order in the volatility market , it still keep my price .. is there any type of broker lkie that ?

I’m relatively new to Forex and trading, been trading demo for 6 months on several platforms from different brokers such as Forextime/FXCM/FxOpen/Hotforex/Octatrader/Ironfx/ThinkForex/FXCC to name a few, trying to get a feel for their spreads, execution times, slippage/re-quotes if any and learning what kind of trading style suits me

I developed my strategy around scalping, hedging and day trading, sometimes intra-day trading. I had started off mainly trading metals and major forex pairs since they were the popular one’s. And to be honest, I found most of the brokers similar in terms of spreads, execution and all that leaving me indecisive whom to trade live with, but a few exceptions

Then I narrowed it down to technicalities. I would choose a STP/ECN broker, 5 decimal points, obviously allowing scalping/hedging/EA, and since I’m a muslim I definitely required the broker to have a SWAP-FREE option with their accounts which I could trade on Mt4

Realistically, these are the specs I would trade live with
- STP/ECN account with 500$ deposit and 1:10 lev
- SWAP-FREE
- Scalping, hedging, EA etc
- Must be on Mt4
- Needless to say, tight spreads and low costs
- Decent number of pairs/CFD’s/Commodities/metals

This is where I need help/suggestions from the more experienced traders here since I haven’t yet traded live with anyone. Which do you guys think would be a good choice for me?
