That 10pips movement and 0.896 holds strong

wheeew, the data is too good to be true,, and trigger many sell,.... and then the sell get closed, .. it should goes up again... anytime soon... i guess

Yes, the movement is really volatile, currently, trying out a small profit, open 0.897 tp at 0.898
Logics do not apply in FOREX

how long u been trading aussie?

this is nothing....I have seen 100 pip plus moves after news....this 30 pip thing is peaceful waters....hmmm reminds me of a song....

Try an ECN (I dont think Oanda is one). They route orders to liquidity centers. You pay a small commission, but major spreads rarely deviate from 1-3 pips

When I become a master, I will move to futures. Currently, I prefer Oanda to ECN because an ECN will slip you. Oanda always honors my stop. I can avoid trading the news if I choose, so I prefer the spread widening to slippage. This may not make sense, but I feel like I can manage it better. A good ECN that didn't slip much would be nice. I was at MBT and the slippage was horendous, maybe this is why I am willing to put up with the spread widening.

try to use stop limit orders , to avoid slippege

I have been ok where Im at. But if a spread widens enough to stop you out, wouldnt that be equal to a slip?

Futures arent so bad I havent used Oanda but I just got with FXDD so I am hoping for good things.

Not the same. If I get slipped then I lost more money than I wanted to risk. If I get taken out because of widening, then I still only lost the max that I intended if the trade went bad. I can almost always avoid the widening by watching the news calendar.
